Ripples of Fantasy 7: Mako Awakening|PART II (Shun/Ethar)

[Ethar Luxun]

Firing bolts of electricity at hte bot as it tried to fled, Ethar followed wit hteh others, trying to bring it down. "What in gods name is this thing made of? It wont go down now matter what we..." He said, as smoke billowed up, giving Ethar some hope that the automatron was down for good.

But much to his dismay, as it cleared, the bot came out of the smoke, and sprayed fire on them.

Shielding his eyes, Ethar felt his skin on fire, but quickly patted it out, but when he looked up, he saw Shun, Summers and everyone else had gotten burnt.

Cloud was quick to try and heal all of them. "Shun! Summers! Miss lockhart!" He said, as they sat up, and looked like they were going to be alright.

When Cloud asked him if he could finish the thing off, and threw him his large sword, Ethar caught it with ease as he replied "As I told Rufus, Anyone that hurts my friends and family, pay the ultimate price..." as he gripped teh sword tightly.

His aura flared up once more, his aura turning silver as Ethar powered up. He felt the strain over the overuse of his power, and glared at the robot. "Time to finish this!" He said, as Ethar suddenly seemingly vanished from sight.

It would take a second to figure out where he was, as Motor Ball suddenly got a deep cut in its armour from what looked like an invisible source. Then anotehr cut... then another, until a large hole was cut in the chest of the bot. Ethar stopped using his Zanzoken with Clouds blade, and grinned. He dropped CLouds sword to the ground ,and quickly climbed into the machine.

Seconds later, people could hear Ethar saying something from inside the bot. "Special...BEAM....CANOOON!" he yelled, as a slim beam of spiraling energy burst out of the top of the bots head, causing it to explode.

Once the explosion was over, the Motor Ball droid fell backwards, terminated.

And slowly, Ethar climbed half way out of the bots chest, panting heavily. He flopped onto the smoking wreckage and said "Can I have some help getting out of this thing now?" as he was obviously so tired, he lacked the strength to even pull himself out.

[Shun]

Ethar wasted no time and hit precisely where it hurted.. That special beam cannon completely decimated the robot..

"Everybody get back!!!" shouted Tifa as she pivoted and grabbed up, literally snatching Ethar up and withdrawing to a safe distance, the gathering looked as the Motor Ball jerked and send off sparkles from all sides before it detonated.

"Is it gone?" asked Barret.

"...yes," answered Red.

After a long stretch of silence, the sunrise was now seen and Barret talked once more, "Ah welp, what do we do now?"

"Sephiroth is alive," said Cloud as he strolled over to Ethar and Shun, "I-I need to settle the score. I would be grateful if you two-" He looks at summers and pats her head, "Three, would stay with me. I know it sounds selfish but-"

"Killin' sephiroth will save the planet?" asked Barret.

"Appears like it." answered Cloud.

"It's settled at that point then, I'm goin'." smiled barret.

"He burned down my family home, of course I will help you." Shun puffed his chest up and nodded.

"Then.. If Shun is going.. I'll go as well, at least to protect summers for me.." said Aeris as she began strolling near summers and giving her a tight hug, "I have things that I need to discover."

"About the Ancients?" asked Cloud.

"...Numerous things," came the answer as she looked summers up and down, smiling with a blush.

Shun stared at Aeris and was right away helped to remember what he had guaranteed himself to do.

"Aeris.. Summers.."

"I figure this is farewell then Midgar," said Tifa as she took one final take a look at the city grabing onto Ethars arm.

"There's a crane and rope here," said Cloud, "we can use this to get down, Ethar. We could really use your help.."

Tifa is lightly slapping Ethars face, "Ethar.. Ethar..."

[Ethar Luxun]

After being picked up and taken away from the robot just before it exploded, Ethar sighed in relief as his silver hair faded. "Im glad that is over..." He said, watching the smoking wreckage of the robot.

After a moment, Cloud started to talk abotu Sephiroth, and that he wanted to settle some score.

It seemed that everyone wanted to help Cloud take on Seperioth, and that made him smile. Friends should always stick together, no matter what. That is what Ethar believed, and it only proved to be a true statement in Ethars mind.

But then his attention was grabbed by Tifa lightly slapping his face. "Ow, Im not dead mIss lockhart, just... very tired..." He said, ash e looked over to cloud.

"You want me to fly you back down? Only if we can get something to eat afterwards, and have a good proper rest afterwards." He said wit ha slight chuckle, as he added 'I did promise Barret a drink afterall." as Ethar chuckled a bit under his breath. His stomach growled again, as his hungry started to rear its ugly head.

[Shun]

Tifa hugs him tightly, it would feel like she is hugging with all her might, "I can honeslty eat a whole Chocobo!"

Cloud gives her a weird look, "Theres no way we can go back to the city for a nice drink. We need to leave the city and hunt."

Barret gives a long face, "AWWWW I wanted the free drink! After awl' that fightin' i'm parched!"

Shun rubs his tummy talking to Ethar, "I miss your steaks so bad.. I'd gladly burn my hand trying to get one at this point.. I'm not even kidding."

Cloud shakes his head, "No can do. We will have to wing it. We do not know how is watching so let's just climb down before we incur any more of Shinra's robo-monsters.."

.... ..... ...... .....

Rufus sighed as he viewed the little figures gradually vanish as they moved down.

"Ah well, I get it couldn't be helped." he thought as he got into his helicopter and took out his PDA.

"We should go to home base," he said as he dialed Tseng's number on speed dial.

"Hi, Tseng? So, uh. They escaped. I'm returning back. Meet me on the rooftop," was all he said before he hung up.

"Yes, Mr. President," said Tseng before hanging up.

"I'll need to talk to Hojo when he awakens.." Rufus whispered to himself looking over the freeway.

.... Meanwhile....

Outside the gates of Sector Five, what was left of AVALANCHE unobtrusively descended down a rope one by one and remained on the ground, watching out into the distance. No one said anything for some time until Red talked up.

Red XIII looks up, "I'm going back to the place where I grew up. I'll run with you to the that extent."

Tifa murmurs gesturing and cracking her knuckles, "...I figure this is the begining of our journey..."

Cloud takes a gander at her, "You dont like travelling?"

Tifa shrugs, "...I don't have a clue. But, I don't have anyplace else to go. Also, I need to care for Ethar while he is here. So I get it doesn't generally make a difference whether I jump at the chance to travel or not."

Cloud gestures and looks off into the fields of Midgar, "It's perilous. You sure you to go?"

Tifa embraces Ethar, ".....Mmm. Got this person to protect me if I am in trouble right here! heh!"

Aerith sighs, she is tending summers wing, "Guess what? This is the first time when I've ever left Midgar..."

Shun tilts his head, "Truly? ...You alright?"

Aerith shrugs, wrapping a bandage around Summers wing, "A little,... no, perhaps a ton. Be that as it may, I have my bodyguard, right?"

Shun nods but he looks at summers and then back at her, "But.. it's dangerous. You sure you want to go?"

Aerith sticks her tongue out and laughs, "I thought you'd say that!"

Barret strolls up to them, "We to tell Aerith's mother to go some place safe, so Marlene ought to be safe as well."

Cloud gestures, "Yeah, she ought to be"

Aerith rubs her brow, "She said she would not like to remain in Midgar any longer...."

Cloud rubs his jaw, "Well, I don't have a clue"

Aerith hollers, "Stop it, Cloud! I'm concerned as well."

Barret begins boxing with the air, "We'll need a leader for our adventure. 'Course that must be me," he said with certainty.

"Are you certain?" asked Tifa with some uncertainty.

Before Barret could answer, Aeris strolled up and begun to talk.

"It would need to be Cloud or Shun or Ethar." she said with a grin.

"Better believe it, can't be any other individual," said Tifa with a grin also.

"Hold up, why might you place me in that??" asked Cloud.

"We need strong leaders," said Aeris, "basic as that."

"I concur," said Tifa, now with a grin to coordinate Aeris.

Barret appeared to be protesting something, so Cloud looked at Red for some support.

"Dont look at me. I'm just accompanying you folks until I get to the place where I grew up, so my feelings shouldn't make any difference. Plus, we just met and I don't have the foggiest idea about every one of you extremely well."

"It's settled at that point," ringed Aeris, "Ethar, Shun and Cloud is the leader's."

"… Awright!" shouted Barret in slight anger, albeit he was happy that those 3 would be driving rather than him.

"It's better that they lead, look where my authority drove Sector Seven, alongside Biggs, Wedge and Jessie.." He murmured.

"^#$^%........ Man... Go Northeast to a town called Kalm. In the case of something happens, we'll get together there." Barret takes a seat.

Barret shrugs, "'Sides, we can't have our gathering walking around the fields. Split us into 2 parties...One can go now; the other will trail behind a couple of hours."

"Gee, OK," said Cloud as he pondered who went where.

"All things considered, Barret can lead one gathering and I, Ethar and Shun can lead the other, yet who goes where? Red appears to need to leave this place as quickly as time permits, so he can run first with you Barret. I have to talk with Shun and Ethar about Sephiroth and Summers wont surrender her Shu- I mean Bunbun... so.. they remain with me. And about the young ladies.. Tifa is more ready to stand her ground in a fight with regards to physical battle, so she will be required to stay with us. What's more, Aeris is by all accounts to a lesser extent a warrior, so it's ideal that she remains with us."

Cloud claps his hands once, "So, Barret, take Red and set out toward Kalm. Me, Summers, Ethar, Shun, Tifa and Aeris will begin following a couple of hours later and meet you either later today or tomorrow morning at Kalm."

Barret shakes his head, "...Thought you'd do that. 'Later, at Kalm!" said Barret as he set off, "How about we go, Red."

"Bye," said Red essentially before following Barret.

"See you at Kalm," said Shun as he watched them leave.

Cloud essentially remained in a similar spot where he had earlier and taken a look at the two figures as they left before glancing back at Shun and Aeris and quietly sighing.

"I do not understand what's in store for us, however by one means or another I feel this will be a serious journey... We should set up camp. How about it?" Tifa said to Ethar.

[Ethar Luxun]

Ethar couldnt help but blush as Tifa embraced him, like he was something extremely precious to her. "Heh, Im not much good to anyone in the state that I am in. I can hardly climb and walk at the moment. But I appreciate the kinda thoughts Miss Lockhart."

Sumemrs's wing twiched as it was slowly being healed, "Says you, You have already seen more of this place then we have Aeris. We came from an entirely different world." She said wit ha sigh as she tried to relax her wing. Since each time it twitched, it reminded her how sore it was. When they talked about Marlene, Summers' ears perked up, as she chimned in "YEah, they said something about leaving the city when I was leaving to come help ya. Didnt say where they were going though."

Thats when the people started to talk about who the leader should be.

This made Ethar chime in, as he said "Please dont pick me as a leader, I know nothing of this world, so I would be a terrible choice." as they then mentioned a town that they would meet up in and recuperate. Either in a few hours, or the next day, which seemed preferable to Ethar.

Waving goodbye to Red and Barret, Summers's ears perked when she heard Tifa mentioning camping out. And being hte playful lil scoundrel she was, she playfully grinned and said "Well Tifa, you and Ethar should share a tent. I think that would seem...appropriate, no?" replying for Ethar, who didnt get a chance to interuppt.

[Shun]

Tifa blushes extremely hard

"S-Share a tent? Y-sure! hahahahahahahahaha" She laughs nervously

.... Its settled Tifa will bunk with Ethar tonight ....

It had been a while since Barret and Red had left for Kalm, leaving Cloud, Aeris and Shun holding up at the entryways of Midgar. They didn't know when they ought to leave, however they concluded that they should wait for like two or three hours, to give the other portion of their gathering to return to them on the off chance that they had trouble on their way. Meanwhile Cloud stood remaining in a similar space where he had stood when the others had left, drenched in his thoughts.

While he was quiet, Shun began to speak,"So our first goal is Kalm, however where do we pursue that? Where is Sephiroth going?"

Cloud rings in from his silence, "His last whereabouts before Midgar that I am aware of were in Nibelheim, however there's nothing there. I figure we simply need to find a few pieces of information on what he wants to do. Those words about the Ancients.. could Sephiroth be an Ancient like he says he is?"

Shun looks to Aeris, who had strolled over to a random throw away looking glass and was looking through it, attempting to find something in the ghettos.

"No.. that is unimaginable. By what way can Sephiroth be somebody like Aeris?.. It is highly unlikely I could never see her remotely do the things as brutal and deadly that I saw him do in Nibelheim, there's gotta be something else here, something I'm not seeing. Hold up a sec, that is it, Jenova... she's tied into this! He turned out poorly and pulverize Nibelheim until the point that he researched about her... his mom. And now they're at long last together, like he needed to "reclaim the planet" with her. Managing him is a certain something, yet them two..." Cloud murmered.

As Cloud kept on speaking, he saw Aeris stroll over to Shun and Summers and begin chatting with them, causing his thoughts to shift.

And after that there's Shun and Summers and those voices that he's always hearing in his head, and clearly Sephiroth may be associated with those voices too. Argh, this is so confounding! How do I get stuck with these people?!!

As Cloud continued to mentally tear his hair out in frustration, Shun with summers and Aeris appeared to be somewhat casual.

"Aeris, what's happening with you?" asked Shun in a fairly fatigued voice.

"I'm taking a look at my old church," she said in a somewhat sullen voice, "Look! You can see it from here summers!"

Shun remained close to Aeris and let Summers look through the glass and beyond any doubt enough, there was a reasonable perspective of Aeris' church, gap in the rooftop and all.

"I needed to get back there before I cleared out Midgar. Reno stomped my flowers when Shun, Cloud and I were running from him, I needed to return them to great shape before I abandoned them," she clarified, as yet keeping a light tone of distress in her voice.

"Ohhhh, so he was the person who did that," said Shun, making an effort not to demonstrate his insight before he grinned, "Don't worry, we will take care of them."

"What?!" she shouted as she glared at him, "When?!"

"Before we came to get you out of the Shinra building, we headed toward your home to see how Marlene was doing and to caution your mother to be watchful. We enjoyed a short rest after that and that is the point at which I decided to come after you," said Shun.

"Ah amazing!" shouted Aeris with charm before all of a sudden wrapping her arms around Summers and Shun and crushing somewhat hard for a moment or so before giving up, "Thank you!! Much thanks to you both!"

After she understood what she had done, she attempted to shroud her very own become flushed too.

"Gracious uh, my bad...I figure I ought to have asked before I did that to summers.." she said as she took a gander at the ground.

"No, it's alright," said Shun rapidly, "It wasn't uhh.. awful by any means right summie?"

Aeris gazed upward again and gave a humiliated grin and it took Shun about a moment to return one.

"Yo, what are both of you doing there?" asked Cloud as he strolled over to them.

"Goodness, guess what Cloud!" shouted Aeris as she kept run up to him a couple of feet before he contacted them, "Shun told to me that we will find and deal with Reno for destroying my flowers!"

"Did he now?" asked Cloud in a joking manner as he looked at Shun and summers, But Shun who still looked rather humiliated, "That was truly decent of him."

'Damn it, what was the purpose of saying that', thought Cloud to himself, I was never great with these sorts of things.

In under a moment, Cloud's musings moved afresh from Shun, Summers and Aeris to Ethar and Tifa.

"Ethar, I have a question. When you met sephiroth. How did you survive? His blade is meant to kill. Yet, you suvived." Cloud folded his arms.

[Ethar Luxun]

Ethar couldnt help but blush very hard at Summers's suggestion that Tifa sleep wit hEthar tonight. Even though everyone knew full well how Tifa and Ethar were together. "Summers... Your going to get me into trouble one of these days. Heh." He said, still blushing.

Summers peered thorugh Aeris's lookign glass, and made a soft growling sound. She didn't particularly like churches, but seeing the hole in the roof made her smile and her tail swayed happily, as it would lightly smack shun in the side.

But she was suddenly pulled into a hug, as the small succubus made a small squeek when she was squeezed. "D-Dont thank me...M-Mister Ethar and I werent around at that time. We were in our world doing our own stuff." She said, before she was let go. "Yeah, teh hug was fun. It just caught me off guard, tis all."

Summers looked up at cloud, and smiled happily and was about to say something but Cloud moved the discussion from them to Ethar.

"Hmm? Well, My body heals at a much faster rate. It also fights off infections better to then a Human. Which, if you havent guessed by now, theres not a single bit of Human DNA in my system. I am 100% alien." He said, as he took off his shirt, an sure enough where he had a deadly chest wound before, it had mostly been healed up. The wound had been right where a human would of had his/her heart.

"My organs are in a different spot to. I was lucky Sephiorth didn't know that. He was aiming for my heart, which he thought was here..." He started to say, pointing to the wound, or what was left of it. "When my heart is actually here." He added pointing nearly a foot lower, to the right.

[Shun]

Cloud would be disturbed at the scar on Ethars chest, he fell silent..'I need to discover a method for conversing with him about those voices without Aeris or Tifa hearing. I'd ask him now, yet I am not sure... If Ethar or Shun is getting the same-'

"Cloud? Cloud? You there?! Hi!"

"Wha-What?" said Cloud arbitrarily as he snapped out of his stupor to discover Tifa taking a look at him.

"You zoned out while Ethar was talking!" She laughed.

"Is everything alright?" she asked as she delicately inclined in.

"Uh.. Yeah, no doubt, everything's fine," he said in a way that appeared to be consoling.

"That is great to hear!" said Aeris as she backpedaled to standing upright and ventured into a pocket within her coat, "listen, before we set up camp, I discovered this in the lab when we were attempting to escape. I don't recognize what it is, would you be able to let me know?"

With that Aeris extended a yellow materia to Cloud, which he took and took a gander at, seeing a minor, clear pyramid inside it. In the wake of watching it for a couple of moments, he understood what the materia was.

"Wow, this truly is something extraordinary here, and uncommon as well. These are difficult to discover Aeris." Cloud held it up.

"Oh?" asked Aeris with a slight grin, "Well? What is it?"

"It's an Enemy-Skill materia. They were made so that on the chance that you are attacked with specific attacks while you have it prepared, the materia will retain that learning and you will have the capacity to utilize that skill also," clarified cloud as he gave the materia back to Aeris, "Stunning," she said as she put it in her Mythril armlet, "Who made it?"

"I think they were made by a man named Professor Gast."

"Gast… Gast… I think Hojo was muttering his name back in the lab ," said Aeris as she thought back.

"He was the leader of Shinra's science division before Hojo," clarified Cloud.

"What transpired?" asked Shun, attempting to fit into the discussion, despite the fact that he knew the appropriate response exceptionally well, and in addition Gast's organic association with one of the general population remaining with him.

"I don't have the foggiest idea. He evidently vanished more than twenty years back, at that point it was accounted for that he passed on, yet I don't realize what the detailed reason was. Sephiroth disclosed to me this when I was in SOLDIER."

"Sephiroth knew Professor Gast?" asked Aeris.

"Yes, he disclosed to me that he addressed him a couple of times when he was a kid."

"Well… how old is Sephiroth?" asked Shun.

"Hmm. When I last seen him he was around twenty five or something like that, that would make him around thirty today. Ethar, do you feel any different since being struck by his sword? Oh and funny note, I have never set up a camp.." Cloud said embarassingly.

[Ethar Luxun]

Sumnmers set off to start setting up the tents, letting the otehrs have their talks as she set up 3 tents, which was all she had with her from teh capsules from Ethar's house. Each were fulyl stocked up with supplies. Courtesy of Capsule Corp.

Ethar on the other hand just listened to their conversation, with nothing to contribute. That is, up until cloud asked him if he felt any different. "Now that you mention it, I always had this pain in my chest that never seemed to go away. IT got worse when I transformed. But after I rested a while in that jail cell, I thought it was gone. But when I tried to destroy that robot on the highway, the pain came back. There must be an infection or something that even my body is fighting off still. I mean, it doesnt hurt as bad as before, so my body must be winning against it, its just slow." He replied, as Cloud said that Sephiroth would be pretty much around thirty today. The same age as Ethar. Strange.

"Why do you ask? Its not like I am the only survivor that ever lived from being stabbed by the guy...he....right?....Right?" He asked, looking a bit haunted that Ethar might be much more unique then he first had known.

"Tents are up!" Summers called, as she wrote up some names on some tape, and put the mabove the tents. Sure enough, one strip said Tifa - Ethar, and of course, that tent was the only one that had a lable on it.

[Shun]

Tifa mind is blow, she looks at how the tents appeared like magic... "Ethar! You must be so rich in your home world! Ah summers! You're so cute! I.. cant...!!!!" She goes and grabs summers up squeezing the hell out of the poor succubus and then lets her down.

Cloud looks over and smirks, nodding before going back to his story.

Shun stretches, "Man... We fought a lot..."

"Ethar, Sephiroth was… raised inside Shinra, I noticed that I have a link with you some how. That blade either kills you or your cells adapt to mako energy." said Cloud as he inspected Ethars wound.

"What do you mean "inside Shinra?"" asked Shun.

"Exactly what it implies, he never grew up with an ordinary family. From what he let me know, his mom Jenova kicked the bucket when he was conceived and Shinra raised just him."

"Be that as it may, Jenova's not dead, and she was held by the Shinra, how could she even birth him?" asked Aeris.

"I don't have the foggiest idea," said Cloud, "I agree that something doesn't fit with what he let me know, however even he wasn't so certain at the time… "

"There's certainly something not human about him however.." said Shunbun as flashes of the carcasses in the Shinra work place from a couple of hours back went to his head.

"Definitely, I'll inform everybody concerning what happened with him when we reach Kalm," said Cloud.

"At that point then should we leave?" asked Aeris.

"Not yet," said Cloud, "we should hold up a while longer and setup camp to allow the others to hit us up if something occurs up ahead. Also we need to find water, we can use fire materia to burn some wood but we have no cook."

"It would be good to finally get some rest.. " said Shun as he attempted to stop his hanging eyelids.

[Ethar Luxun]

"HEh Rich? Girl, on my homeworld, Im a duke. Material wealth isnt all that important to us though. Knowedge is where the real wealth is at. Besides, those tents are very cheap." He said, as Summers was abotu to crawl int oa tent when Tifa suddenly nabbed her and squeezed her. "Squeeek!" She yelped in the hug. "S-Stop doing that! Dork!" She said in a huff.

As soon as Tifa let her go, Summers crawled int othe tent for a few monets, before bringout out some containers.

"Mako Energy? Never heard of it. Least, I dont think so..." He said, trying to think. When cloud examined Ethars would, he could see the veins that had the Mako infestation actually being pushed back by Ethars body, as they were growing smaller and smaller as the wound slowly healed infront of CLouds eyes. Could Ethar's DNA actually hold a potential cure for Mako Infestations?

"Well, Sephiroth did say I was a brother, or something. Coming from teh same mother, or whatever he said. But I must admit, that Jenova was truely alive, and very aware of her surroundings. She was watching us. I sensed it." He said, as cloud said that they need to find water.

"Gotcha covered there handsome." Summers said, as she opened the containers, and tossed a bottle of water to Cloud, and the water was actually already very cold. "Ethar kept these emergency camping supplies in his basement incase something were to happen. Each tent has 3 days worth of supplies in it. Food, water, even a couple sets of his clothes, you name it." She said, as she pulled out what looked like some beef jerky from the container and started to nibble on it.

Giving Tifa a look, Summers thought ot have some fun with her, after she mentioned that some sets of Ethars clothes were in the tents. "And no Tifa, you cant steal his underwear..." She said, before she burst out laughing.

[Shun]

Translucent shining waters entered the groups sight, a sigh of content leaving Shunbun knowing that everyone was set. The sprinkling of the close tide waters over the coarse shore flabbergasted Tifa from inspecting the sublime and beautiful landscape. She was so distracted she did not hear directly what Summers said except for 'underwear' and she eeped and pulls her skirt down, "Hey! Agh! Curses..."

Cloud speaks nicely and smiles to summers, "Hey, You wanna hang out?"

Cloud looks up at Shun, "Aeris, Shun we do need the wood so chop chop."

Shun shrugs, "Eh we got everything we need but it couldnt hurt to get more excersize.."

"At long last, a respectable place to rest for once." Shun moaned, His shoulders split firmly as he moved them back, his neck bending in clear fatigue of the long night they had..

"Perhaps Ethar can get cook us a chomp or two while we're grinding away getting the wood?" Aeris proposed.

"No need we have everything we need in the tents hah" Shun smiles back.

"I know it doesnt matter but we are starting to run low on Gil so outdoors should suit us for legitimate resting and learning to hunt." Tifa reacted back to their remarks, bolting her tent down more. Shun, and Aeris moaned in apparent disillusionment, effectively starting to jog off towards the closest place for wood, fortunately theres a small tree in short proximity to alleviate their throbbing feet.

"If I walk any further, I think my legs will fall off." Aeris griped, inclining her arm somewhat on the bunny boys's shoulder to bolster herself from toppling over like a old building giving way into a stack of garbage and blocks.

"I could grumble and complain, however the campground isn't too far away in the first place." Shun commented, looking behind him with an energetic flash in his Mako eyes.

"C'mon, we've overcome most noticeably awful circumstances than this Aeris." Shun said reassuringly, raising her nearer towards his slim, yet manly frame with a solitary arm wrapped around her midsection.

"We just need to chop this tree down!" Shun smiled.

Cloud looks at Ethar even more curious, "Ethar, when your hair changes does your body go through any pain? It honestly looks painful.." He goes to secure the tents..

"Summers, behave." Ethar said, giving her a stern look that made her shrink a bit. "Yes, yes, I will. " she said as she joined the others to look for firewood. When they found the small tree, Summers said "Anyone got an axe? Im not using my claws...slivers are a pain to get out...." as she looked a bit embarassed.

Bback at the camp, Ethar got more questions from Cloud, as he replied "When I transform? Nah, it doesnt hurt. Well, it normally doesnt. It hurts a bit after that stabbing I got. Then there was the first time I ever transformed, that hurt... I guess I got used to it."

If Tifa were to look into the tents, she would see that they are quite room, and Very modern. Almost like small houses, in tent form. In the tent marked for her and Ethar, there would only be ONE sleeping bag, but it was a fairly large one. More then enough room for two people. The other tents had two slightly smaller sleeping bags each. It was as if Summers was setting up a passionate night between Tifa and Ethar.

"But yeah, my body is capable of so much when I transform. But that is just a basic transformation. I have many more I am yet to learn how to unlock." Ethar said as he smiled. "Why?"

Aaaaaand the tree goes down. Shun puts summers on his back as he carries his portion of his logs.

"Can't believe I'm stating this, yet it's nice not to murder anything... for once." Aeris ringed joyfully.

"Better get back to camp. Cloud might think we are dead." Shun laughed from the opposite side of the chopped tree.

"We just got here thought and you need me to return?"Aeris griped, eyes rolling a little in resistance.

"Eh, if you wanna hang out here later you, summers and I can definitely go for it." The saiyan said.

The two make it back to the campsite with wood, tossing it into a pile, "FIRE!" cried out shun setting the fire ablaze and starting a bonfire.

Cloud quickly shuffled from his sitting spot after listening to Ethar, sending Shun and Aeris both a look of disturbance. "No one seen you guys right?" Aeris just giggled at how uncalled Cloud's look was, "No silly." waving him off mockingly. When Cloud dashed off into his tent to get his fundamental outdoors supplies, Aeris hunched down to Summers to show her some pictures.

Meanwhile Tifa looks inside the tent indeed and she see's that things are.... diffrerent... She starts to take her boots off and put them outside of the tent and lays back in the bed, "Ahh... phew... Ah..."

Continually bringing that odd styled thing of photography.. It wasn't the latest model of cameras these current days, however she never thought of moving up to a more up to date shinra-tech cam. For whatever length of time that she could keep a record of her adventure nearby her companions, she wouldn't scrutinize her feeling of happiness. Possibly that is the thing that Shun respected about Aeris. How She could think less about what others thought about her.

"What do you think about this photograph summers? I think it was a quite decent shot." Aeris asked as she showed her some pictures of some lillys and rose poetals, her hand feeling on the showed photograph. The shot comprised of a huge assortment of vintage flowers and a younger Elmyra.

"Thats very pretty and Elmrya looks good." Shun reacted back in a roundabout way.

"I kinda like it. It truly indicates how marvelous life can be." She remarked with no filter of her choice of words, her cheeks highlighted with a hint of blood red. It wasn't abnormal for her to become suddenly flustered.. It nearly turned into a habit, cheeks starting to flush even more pronouncedas she said something cute about Summers. It was very delightful entirely be straightforward to your sentiment.

"I honestly think you're one of the prettiest girl I have ever seen!"

Summers made an "Oooo" Sound when Aeries started to show her pictures of things and flowers. "These are very good Miss Aeries. You are very talented!" Summers said with a bright smile. SHe was almost studying each picture before Shun and Aeries seemed to be flirting wit heachother. This was the first time she experienced the two flirting wit heachother.

She quickly blurted out "Get a room you two... Better yet, Go use a tent. Just keep it down." She said, as she giggled playfully, knowing she probably shocked Shun and Aeries.

Ethar saw a glimpse of Tifa going into their tent, and decided to see how she liked the temporary accommodations. He got up to his feet, and poked his head into the opening of the tent. "Comfortable enough for you Miss Lockhart? I know its not a 5 star hotel room, but its better then sleeping outside."
