[Ethar Luxun]

"Well, my people are scholars mostly. We probably have the largest library in the entire universe. We are very well versed in every magical art. Alchemy, projection magic, blood magic, elemental magic, time magic, you name it, we mastered it in some way or form." He said, as he laid back on his cot.

Listening to Tifa and Aerith talk about the Cetra, the name of the people he still couldnt put his finger on. "The Cetra sound like they are very spiritual people... Reminds me of the people of the Island of Melados. Very sacred place. Legends have it, that the people there actually take care of the planet, hold its energies in balance, and heal it if a natural disaster damages it. Even I havent been there. Only sacred council of Elders have permission to go there." He said, thinking of his place back on Nor.

He had no home back on Earth, since Sephiroth destroyed it. "Hey, who knows Miss Aerith, maybe Shuns and my world is your Promised Land all along?" He asked with a smile.

Then cloud mentioned they should get some rest. Ethar didnt need to sleep, but a power nap did seem to be something they could all use...

[Shun]

Tifa would ponder Ethars words, "I would very much like to explore.. z...zzzzzzz...."

Aerith smiles and sighs, "Yeah.. hmm.. If our worlds are linked.. zzz.. I'd like.. zzz... to.. zzzz"

And so everyone falls asleep for a short time...

KERLING!

Cloud awakens amidst the night in his and Tifa's jail cell.

He sees that the entryway is open also Shunbuns and Ethars cell door is open..

Cloud whispers, "Guys, wake up, The entryway's open... When.. did it open?" He and passes the entryway and strolls a few doors down. There is a guard, dead, lying on the floor. He bows by him.

Cloud squints, "What's happened?"

He backpedals to Tifa's, Shun and Ethar.

Cloud goes back and fourth between the cells, "Tifa, Shun, Ethar... Wake up!"

Tifa sits up, "What's wrong?"

Shun rubs his eyes, "Huh?.."

Cloud looks back, "Something's different. Look outside."

They go out to the guard. Cloud takes after.

Tifa covers her mouth, "I ponder what happened..."

Cloud shrugs, "He ought to have the key on him..." He gets the jail keys.

Cloud pats Shun's shoulder, "Go ahead, Shun, get Aerith, I'll go help Barret and the others."

Shun goes to Aerith's cell. Cloud hurries to Barret and Red XIII's.

Cloud taps Barrets shoulder,"Barret, Red XIII... accompany me. Something's wrong."

Barret gets up, "Bruh. how'd you get in? Why's the entryway open!? Man.. Never mind.. les go"

They head out to the dead monitor.

Barret scratches his head, "The hells's goin' on!?"

Red XIII shakes his head, "No human could've done this. I'll proceed." Red XIII goes.

Barret shrugs, "I'll tidy up back here, so you folks proceed. What's more, don't get gotten by Shinra!"

Tifa nods, looking to Ethar, "I..Im sorry!" She kisses him on the lips and gulps.

Cloud facepalms sighing, "Come on we need to follow Red, quit fooling around."

[Ethar Luxun]

Ethar stirred and woke up as he heard voices, and saw the cells were open. "What the... " He started to say, but shrugged it off.

He shook himself awake as he followed cloud as he free'd everyone from what cells were still closed.

They passed teh dead monitor, as Red said that no human could of done this, and Ethar quickly said 'Dont look at me. I didnt do this, I was sawing logs.... as they say.." He said, as Tifa suddenly apologized for something, then kissed him passionately on the lips. He couldnt help but follow his instincts, and returned the kiss just as passionatly until Cloud told them to snap out of it, and to follow the canine creature.

"Yeah Yeah, coming..." He said, giving Tifa a quick kiss on her nose, before Ethar took off after Red. "Do you know where we are going? Its hard to tell where the President is... Im trying to find him, but his energy seems to be shielded now..."

[Shun]

They take after Red XIII to the lab where he was detained before. He explains to Ethar, "This whole establishment is laced with a power suppresor so you may only recieve faint hints of life in and out, Do not worry, you have been a very fine warrior among us Mister Ethar." The way there is recolored with blood and covered with bodies. Where there was an entryway in the metal arch, there is currently a vast opening.

Cloud looks left to right, "...Did it escape? Jenova...?"

Red XIII sniffs the ground, "Jenova Specimen... It would appear that it went to the upper floor utilizing that lift for the specimens."

They take the lift up to the 68th floor. Red XIII is holding up, "It would seem that it leads up..."

Barret folds his arms, looking at Ethar, "He's dead... The pioneer of Shinra, Inc. is dead."

Tifa circles to the president, "This sword.....!?"

Cloud and Shun yell out, "Sephiroth's!!"

Tifa jump slightly startled, "...Sephiroth is alive?"

Cloud nods, balling his fists, "...Looks like it. No one but Sephiroth would use be able to use that sword."

Barret yells out, "Who cares who did it!? This is the end of the Shinra now!"

"Uh!"

Palmer, a man from earlier in the meeting with the president hops out from behind the work area and rushes toward it.

Cloud and, Barret get him by the arms.

Palmer wimpers, "P, p, p, please, don't murder me!"

Cloud folds his arms, "What happened?"

Palmer is visibly shaken, "Se... Sephiroth. Sephiroth came."

Shun softly gulps, "Did you see him? Did you see Sephiroth?"

Palmer nods very fast, "Definitely, I saw him!! I saw him with my own very two eyes!"

Cloud leans in, "You truly observed him?"

Palmer sniffles, "Uh! Would I deceive or lie to you at such a critical point in time!? What's more, I heard his voice as well! Um, he was saying something in regards to not giving us a chance to have the Guaranteed Land."

Tifa shakes his head, "The Promised land you mean? Does that imply that the Promised Land truly exists and that Sephiroth's here to take it from Shinra?"

Barret shrugs, "So what, dat' make him a decent person?"

Cloud exhales loudly, "Save the Promised Land? A decent person? No chance!! It isn't so much that straightforward!! I know him! Sephiroth's central goal is diverse, EVIL!"

A helicopter drifts into view in the huge cove windows. Palmer breaks free and furthermore, escapes.

Barret yells, "Rufus! &*%$!! I hate him!"

Tifa clings onto Ethar, "Who's that?"

Barret shakes his head, nostril flaring, "VP Rufus. The President's child."

Tifa tilts her head, "I wonder what sort of individual he is..."

Aerith shrugs, "I've heard that nobody's at any point seen him tired or shed a tear."

Barret clenches his fists, "I heard that he's been appointed elsewhere for a long time..."

Red XIII looks up, "I just know his name."

Cloud runs out onto the overhang at the highest point of the Shinra Building. The rest take after. They discover Rufus

and Palmer there.

Rufus smiles, "So... So Sephiroth was in reality here. ...Coincidentally."

Palmer flees.

Rufus raises an eyebrow, "Who are you all?"

Cloud grips the handle of his buster, "I'm CloudStife, previous SOLDIER First Class!"

Barret aims his gun arm, "I'm from AVALANCHE!"

Tifa nods, "Same here!"

Aerith readies her staff, "...a flower girl from the ghetto."

Red XIII, "An Specimin."

Shun yells, "A PROUD POTATO!"

The group just looks at him

Rufus shrugs, "What a group." He smooths his hair with lack of concern, looking directly at Ethar, "Oh you, I was sent by Father to collect you mister Noran. What was your name again?"

[Ethar Luxun]

Following the trail of blood and death, Ethar learned that Sephiroth was the cause of everything. "If Sephiroth was the cause of this. Why would be free us in the process?" He asked, as another man suddenly came out, begging not to be murdered.

A helicopter soon came into view, and Palmer ran out to the copter. "I can fly after him if you want... or not..." He said as the fattie escaped, but his attention was caught by a new individual. "And I am Ethar Luxun." He said ,as Shun introduced himself as a potatoe. A potatoe.

Ethar gave Shun an odd look, but couldnt help but chuckle to himself a bit.

it was then Rufus said that he was the one to collect Ethar, and it was then Ethar felt his rage build up again to a boiling point. "You know, I was going to be the one to kill your father, but you will have to do." He said, as Ethar aimed his finger at Rufus's legs, and fired a fast, yet powerful beam of energy, aimed right at Rufus's knees.

"People say that Im usually a nice guy but now. They are gonna see how bad I can get when angry..." He said, as Ethars dark side started to come out.

[Shun]

To Ethar surprise he catches his ki blast and marvels at it in his hand, "Don't no underestimate me, I have studied the technologies of your world. I have pulled Garland and countless warriors from universes vaster than you could ever comprehend." He crushes the Ki ball, showing off his Ki glove. He dusts himself off and combs his fingers through his hair, "Well, All things considered, I'm Rufus. The New President of Shinra, Inc."

Barret shakes his hand, "You just President, 'cause your father was killed!"

Rufus nods and shrugs, "Yes, It's hard to believe, but it's true. I'll give you a chance to hear my new arrangement discourse."

He strolls to Tifa,"The...Old man attempted to control the world with cash. It appears to have been working. For a time."

He strolls to Aerith, "The populace imagined that Shinra would secure them."

He strolls to Ethar, "Work at Shinra, get your compensation. On the off chance that a you ever get attacked, the Shinra armed force will help you. His hair turned to a silver colour, and red markings merged on his face. Growling, Ethar formed a sword made out of energy on his right hand, and made a lunge towards Rufus, with the intent of cutting some body part off. "And Tyrants are meant to be killed by heros!"

[Shun]

"I do grow tired of these petty games." Rufus uses instant transmission and appears on the other side of the pad and waves capsules to them, "A magnificent invention. Pop one of these and you become unlike anything else. It is way better than our Shinra tech' here." He rubs his chin and smirks.

"So will you join me? I care not for your petty insults. Either you join or die here, it makes me no difference and I am oh so on the clock."

Tifa yells at him, "NO! you jums at the chance to make chaos simply like your dad."

"So let me get this straight, you surmise that you'll have the capacity to keep Shinra running for long with that procedure?" asked Shunbun, recognizing what the result was probably going to be.

Ethar slammed into the railing when Rufus dodged his energy sword. He quickly turned and saw he was on the other side of the pad, and waving around some sort of capsule that made him as capable a fight as a Z-fighter. This disturbed Ethar deeply, as he had no idea what else the man was capable of.

After cloud told Barret to remove Aerith from teh building, Ethar looked to Tifa as he said "You to Tifa. If something happens to me, I want you to look after Summers." He said, as Shun asked if Ethar would stay to help them.

He nodded in reply, as he said "Of course. No one will be safe until Shinra is completely vaporized, and this jackass is dead along with it to." as Ethar remained in his powered up form. He hoped that Tifa would take his advice and keep herself safe, for his and Summers's sake.

[Shun]

Cloud taken a gander at Shun and Ethar before gesturing rather reluctantly.

'Clouds.. been through so much; I don't know the amount more he can take.' Thought Shun.

Tifa nodded listening to Ethar without any restraint. She hugged him hard and nuzzled him.. "Stay alive damn it." she whispered.

Barret, Tifa, Red and Aeris kept running into the workers with Aeris investigating Shun, Ethar, and Cloud and hoping after their wellbeing.

When they were gone Rufus glared intensely at the three before him, appearing to disregard Cloud.

But then when he saw Rufus gaze towards the nearby helicopter, HE to looked towards it, and for a brief second, he saw a familiar sight.

A Spaded tail near the end of the body of the helicopter.

"Summers..." Ethar said, as alarms started to sound from the helicopter as it strained to stay in flight. He saw the windows on the helicopter get splatterd with a white substance, from teh inside. Then the engine started to smoke as the helicopter.

The helicopter fell from the sky, and something small flew out of the vehicle, and flew in one spot for all to see. The Succubus-in-training, holding Ethars wooden staff. "What are you doing here Summers?! Its dangerous here!" HE yelled, but the small succubus giggled and replied "I came to help you guys. No one will hurt my BunBun!"

[Shun]

"What a bother. That helicoptor costed a bit of money." Rufus points at Summers and fires on her.

"Summers-WAIT! Cloud, keep an eye out! He has company!" yelled Shun.

Shun, Ethar and Cloud looked into in the nick of time to see a dark animal hop out of the helicopter as it was falling and landed by Rufus.

Not as much as a moment after it had landed, they saw its arm beginning to shine as a white shell surrounded Rufus and he went up against a light white gleam.

"Ugh, that is a Shield spell," said Cloud in disturbance.

"OK, how about we see what you got," said Cloud with certainty as he made a X with is arms over his chest to shield himself from the up and coming assault.

the hound Dark Nation let out a snarl as he propelled a rush from his limb at Cloud. The assault made an immediate hit, however it did just blush his lower arms as the blue materia in his armlet shined. Once the spell was done, Cloud brought down his arms and got his sword front of him, prepared to assault. Shun had grinned as he had viewed these occasions occur before turning his look back onto Rufus.

He kept watching how both battles were going, but there was a word that Rufus mentioned that grabbed his full attention.

And he saw Rufus looking at Ethar like he should know who Frieza was. "Dont look at me, I never met the guy yet." He said, as he saw Shun get kicked and attacked by the sneaky Rufus.

"Leave my son... ALONE!"  Ethar yelled, as his eyes started to glow brightly. A red pentagram of sorts formed around Ethar, as anyone near by who could sense any kind of energy started to feel Ethar's power level sky rocket.

"This better work..." Ethar thought, as his aura burst into view as Ethar focused on something new. "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" He started to yell, as his aura turned to a metallic silver colour.

The entire building seemed to start to shake , as what appeared to be cracks formed in the floor all around Ethar. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" HE continued to yell, as a bright light engulfed Ethar. It was then, it felt like Ethars power level had reached roughly 3 MILLION!

The light soon subsided, to reveal the Noran Duke, in an all new transformation. His hair had grown down to his waist, and his eyes had resumed their ocean blue colour. His eyebrowns were gone, but hte bones underneath seemed to have bulged forward.

This was Ethar's Super Saiyan 3. Or atleast, it looked like it.

Panting softly, Ethar finally said "Ok Rufus. I think your time is done here." as the pentagram under Ethar's feet vanished from sight.


New Technique
Illusion Magic (Level 1) - Utilizing his magical abilities, Ethar is able to create a false image around his immediate area, as well as create false power levels. However, as the images have no sustenance, there is no actual increase in Ethars power level. The illusion requires that Ethar use all of his Ki abilities to maintain, and as such, Ethar cannot fly or use Ki-related abilities. The illusion can be defeated if the user is fully aware of the illusion. (Max 5 post usage)

[Shun]

"Im.. tch 21" Cloud struggled against Dark Nation.

"Well, that is very young to be such a major piece of an association like AVALANCHE, would it say it isn't?" Rufus says to Shun before being taken aback.

Rufus covered his mouth, "So you can scream in constipation and grow out long hair? Hmph. You will meet Frieza. In due time, for now I really did not come to fight you mister Ethar, but collect you but you are a completely different sort of demon."

"Perhaps he is, yet like you stated, the vast majority of us have our demons Rufus. Shouldn't something be said about you? You will appear to others to be entirely way too young to be President of Shinra." Quiped Cloud.

"I'm just three years more seasoned than you, Soldier, yet I recall that, I didn't precisely be made president today. That happened on the grounds that my dad kicked the can. Heh." laughs Rufus as he instant transmissions behind Ethar going for a kick to his head.

"Doesn't seem like you're sad about that occurrence," watched Shun.

"I'm not; he was not a better than average father honestly. He was a vastly capable president, despite the fact that take a look at how that finished," included Rufus with a grin.

"Well then," started Cloud as he prepared his buster, "we should see where your administration will lead you! Im guessing straight to hell!"

All through this entire talk, the fight amongst Cloud and Dark Nation, Ethar and Shun had seethed on, with Cloud now getting the high ground and figuring out how to dispense a few injuries upon the hound again powerful because of Cloud's materia blend. The animal snarled in dissatisfaction as it scarcely figured out how to stay away from Cloud's slice by bouncing back. Cloud was not any more stressed over losing to Dark Nation as he was now winning, however he had seen how things were going amongst Rufus and Ethar.

Amid this time, Aeris, Barret and Red had figured out how to achieve and reach the lift easily and were en route to the top floor when Aeris begun to feel uneasy.

"Hm? What's that sound?" she inquired.

"What? Whatchu saying?" asked Barret, not hearing anything.

"From over yonder," answered Aeris, as the group loads onto a lift below the party battling above them.

Barret focused on his ears and started to get something.

Gee… sounds like some kind of buzzing… Like a machine or-

"OH SHIT! GET DOWN!" shouted Barred as he propelled himself at Aeris and Red and held them down to the floor of the lift as the sound of projectiles emitted loudly above them and the glass which secured them gave away and tumbled to the ground.

"What was that?!" shouted Red as he escaped Barret's grip to see the other lift descending.

Aeris and Barret got up on their feet so as to see that opposite them stood a gigantic machine on wheels

with a few weapons pointed decisively at them.

"DAMN, Shinras top gun robo!" shouted Barret.

"What do we do?" asked Aeris.

"We can't hit it with our weapons," said Red in disappointment.

"Possibly you can't," said Barret as he pointed his weapon arm at the Hundred Gunner, "however ETHAR! ETHAR CAN!!"

With that Barret discharged a series of shots at the machine, yelling and yelling, "ETHAR!!! MAN WE NEED YOU!!!!" The slugs seemed to do some harm, however the Hundred Gunner did not move as it was preparing a massive shot.

"Ugh! It's not doing much! Ethar!"

Shun reluctantly gives Ethar a senzu bean, with prouty lips, "We gotta save our friends..."

[Ethar Luxun]

"You really do not know A Super Saiyan 3 when you see it? I pit you. I truly do. For a man who claims to know so much, your knowledge is vastly limited." He said, as Rufus suddenly vanished from hsi sight. He then felt his energy reappear behind him, and with the help of his advanced reflexes, he quickly spun around and caught the mans foot before it could make an impact.

"I am no demon. Im just someone who believes in justice and truth. When the time comes to battle Frieza, I welcome the challenge." He said, and was about to throw a powerful punch at Rufus's head, however, his ears picked up the sound of gunfire underneath them. Quickly sensing any energy signatures underneath them, Ethar had to let out a gasp. He then heard it, faintly, very faintly. His name being called.

Shunn handed him a Senzu bean and nodded to him. "Be careful my son. Dont let this man leave this place alive." He said, as Ethar's Super Saiyan 3 illusion dissolved like dirt in a moving river of water. He pushed Rufus away hard, then punched the roof that he was on, hard, creating a hole and quickly jumping in.

Ethar found himself falling down a large elevator shaft, as he sensed Red, Barret and Aeris on a platform below him. But there was something else on the opposing platform he couldnt sense. And as he grew closer, He saw it was a well armed drone of sorts. Putting on full speed, Ethar slammed into the elevator that was holding the Gunner bot, breaking some of the elevators latches that was holding the platform in place. In doing so, the platform was pushed down enough so that the bot did not have a clear line of sight with Aeris, Barret and Red.

"Somebody call for a hero?" He asked, as he quickly turned to face the boy. It was utterly massive. Forming an energy sword on his hand, Ethar started to cut and slice into the bots armour, quickly attempting to dismantle it.

Back on the roof, Summers sniffled as she gazed over to her wing. There were holes in it now, which meant no more flight. She peered over the edge, and saw that Ethar had left the site, leaving Shun and cloud to deal with their foes. "I got to help them somehow..." She said, as she thought back to before Ethar, shun and herself were pulled into the new universe. It was then she had a risky idea, using her power of illusion, Summers took on the form of Sephiroth. "Hope this works..." He/She said, as she got to her feet, and jumped off the building, and landed in full view of Rufus, Cloud, Shun and the dark nation creature.

Summers kept herself facing towards the group, keeping the small demonic wings on her back hidden, and the wind did well to hide her horns in the hair she copied. She did her best to copy Sephiroth exactly, as she just smiled and waited to see what their reaction would be.
