WHACK… WHACK… WHACK…
The sounds echoed through out the mountain side. The sound of an axe splitting rounds of firewood was heard. The Noran Duke was busy chopping up firewood for his mountain home because today was a very special day for him.
Ethar Luxun’s birthday was today, and he was happily splitting up firewood for his house AND for a potential bonfire tonight for his party.
He had sent invitations to his best friends Ohkara and Ethan, as well as anyone else who felt like making an appearence. Granted, the party would pretty much be open for anyone who knew how to find him.
His ‘roommate’ Summers, a Succubus in-training had actually kicked Ethar out of his house temporarily, though why was something he failed to know since this was his first Earth Birthday. But Summers was actually busy decorating the house with conjured up balloons, ribbons and other party decorations.
But after a while, Summers poked her head out of the door. “Want something to keep you warm Ethar?” She asked. It caught Ethars attention, as he turned and saw the lil demoness had a platter with a cup of hot chocolate on it. “Thank you. Im almost done with the firewood. Anything else I have to do out here?” He asked, as he walked up and took the mug of hot chocolate and took a sip. The rich chocolaty liquid sliding down his throat, slowly warming him up as he waited for the small girls answer. “Don’t forget the leaves. You insisted on having trees up here, and they have to be cleaned up before the winter flies.” She replied, as one leaf splattered on her face. “Poo!” She spat, getting the leaf out of her face.
“Oh right, I am sorry… It does seems to be late in coming this year.” He said, as he drank his warm drink. “That’s what she said… Bah ha ha ha.” She burst into laughing as she retreated back into the house to continue decorating. Ethar shook his head at the small girls sense of humour, since he didn’t understand any of it.
Putting the empty mug on the deck, Ethar walked over to his garden shed, leaned the axe up against the side of it, and took out a grass rake and begun to clean up the yard as he waited for his guests to start arriving…

Celeh wasn't too keen on having someone living so close to her. She hadn't noticed it before, but there was someone living just a few miles from her home on the same mountain. Still, she figured it'd be a good idea to go and see just who her neighbor was. She felt like the power she was sensing had some air of familiarity to it, but she couldn't pinpoint why. It probably didn't help that she was dressed in her saiyan armor still. That'd probably give the wrong impression. Still, she had her dark blue cloak on over it, so it wouldn't be all bad. The female saiyan dropped down slowly out of the sky near the home of her neighbor. She glanced around to locate him, spotting him on the deck of the house. Celeh gave a slow, one armed wave. "Greetings, neighbor." She recognized him...he's one of the fighters that works with Ohkara and the blue haired fellow.
She let out a light scoff, "Tch..." and rolled her eyes. Of course it had to be someone with some kind of small tie to her, even if only a small one. Celeh approached, but he didn't seem to have noticed her wave and greeting at first. That or maybe she just didn't speak up enough. He'd went to the yard to start raking leaves while she approached. Once she was closer she spoke up again, "Hello?"

Quickly making a small pile of leaves, Ethar heard a voice that wasn't familiar. He quickly sensed out for any powerlevels and found that the new voice also had a relatively strong power signature.
He turned around, and saw a woman in a cloak was greeting him. "Oh hello there. I'm sorry if I didnt notice you before, I thought it was the wind. Seems I was mistaken." He said, as he tried to figure out who the woman was. He had sensed her power before somewhere, but it was seemingly evading his mind, and that usually didnt happen. "You say you are my neighbour? Goodness me, Your the one that lives a few miles from here? Ive seen your place a few times, but never really thought to say Hello." He said, looking a bit embarrassed.
"Its a good time you came actually, Im having a party later on today, and as my neighbor, Id be happy if you could join me, and my guests once they arrive." He said with a smile, but soon the door to his small home opened up and the head of a small demon girl poked out. Her green eyes looking at the new guest, and she smiled. "Wooo! A new guest eh? Ill fix up a hot chocolate for her!" She said, before pulling her head back into the house, but not shutting the door.
"Oh dear, seems like shes gotten so excited, shes forgotten to close the door. Heh. Would you like to come in?" He asked Celeh as he gave her a soft smile.

Celeh gave a faint smirk under the cloak as he mentioned her being like the wind. If that was true then perhaps her shifty appearance with the cloak was more effective than she thought! Either way, though, that wasn't her intention today. "Yes, my home is several miles from here, just around the mountain's second highest ridge. And although we've apparently been neighbors for a while, I've not felt the need to come and say hello until now. Forgive me for keeping to myself, but I have my reasons. If any trouble arose I'd have been here, so there's no need to worry about that. From what I can tell, though, you can take care of yourself just fine."
Celeh pulled the hood of her cloak back and took Ethar up on his offer. "Mmm...You have a daughter? She doesn't look very much like you, though." Celeh commented while making her way onto the deck and then following him into his home. He was being quite hospitable for someone who just met a cloaked stranger. Then the saiyan took her robe off completely, revealing her traditional saiyan body armor...minus the shoulder plates and the bright red trimming it formerly had. The bright red on the toes, abdomen, and trimming around the arms and waist had been repainted with silver. The silver, blue, and black of the armor made quite a smooth color combination.
"I take it you don't recognize me, but I can't be upset. We've never formally met. I was at the battle with that teal monster in Central City. You were one off the two fighters that put the monster down for the count. That blue haired fellow who manipulates water was your partner in defeating it, right?" She figured she'd make small talk about the one thing they had in common so far.

"Heh, Tis alright. Considering what I have fought against in recent years.... A insane Saiyan queen, villians of histories passed... I cant take care of myself fairly well." He said as he saw the woman pulled her cloak hood back, and saw what he didnt expect. A battle worn woman with black hair, a bit cute in Ethars eyes but what she had said next gave Ethar a bit of a startle.
"Daughter?! Nah, Summers is just a.... Whats the word... Roommate. She helps with cooking and cleaning. I am not married, nor do I have any children, sad to say." He replied, following the woman up to his main door and entered his home. While it looked small on the outside, the interior of the mountain home was actually built into the rock itself, like the stone itself was shapped at the atomic level to meld with the wooden construction of the building seamlessly. Celeh took off her cloak completely, revealing the rest of her.
At first, Ethar did not recognize the armour at first due to the custom paint job though. It didnt take long for it to click in his head though, he had seen saiyan armour before, but it was over a year ago.
After she had spoken, Ethar replied "Ethan? Yeah, he was my partner in that battle. If it wasnt for his help, I wouldn't of been able to fire off the attack that killed Zarbon." as his memory clicked again. He did feel the presence of another person at the battle site, but he never got the chance to check it out. "Ah, so you were there as well? I see. Speaking of never being formerly met, My name is Ethar Luxun." He added, extending his hand to the woman.
OF course, when Celeh was in the house, she could see balloons and streamers all over the home, as if it was decorated for a party. And sure enough in the kitchen washing dishes, Celeh could see the young demoness at the sink. Her small spade tail waving back and forth, as well as the small horns on her head were clearly visible...

It’s had been a few months since his rather eventful birthday party, but Ethan had finally heard back from Ethar about his own birthday. As Ethan had suspected, the differences between the Earth and Noran calendars had resulted in about a six Earth month shift in their respective birthday celebrations. Today was in fact the correct day and so Ethan was on his way to Ethar’s mountain hideaway to help his friend enjoy the occasion. It had also been a few weeks since Brandon had moved back in, aboard the blue haired teen’s boat and Ethan could just leave him alone. Unfortunately his returned roommate had found out how to manipulate the teen’s body just like Ohkara had and this more muscular young man never seemed to miss an opportunity to exercise that knowledge. Ethan’s grey skinned roommate even seemed to enjoy abusing the boy’s weaknesses about as much as Ohkara, which had made life on the boat interesting to say the least.
If life on his boat had become interesting, the physical closeness of flying around with Brandon was equally problematic. It was bad enough that Brandon ‘s arms wrapped around his body was enough to get Ethan going, but the grey skinned young man had a disturbing propensity to grab Ethan rather inappropriately and has on more then one occasion almost caused them to crash. This flight was no different, and when Ethan arrived with Brandon aboard his board, the teen’s body was being it’s usual rebellious self. Thankfully, unless someone was looking for it, the manifestation of that rebellion would be hard to spot as Ethan was wearing his most hated winter garb. The black track pants would mostly disguise the lump and the heavy winter coat hung low enough to completely cover the trouble area. The trouble though would come when Ethan would cast off that itchy garment, which of course would be as soon as he was in the door.
Sailing in over the treetops, Ethan spotted the snow filled yard, the lights from the cabin windows and the smoke rising from the chimney. Descending down into the yard, Ethan touched down with Brandon at his back and dismissed his board once they were on the ground. “Ok captain touchy. We’re here, time to let go.” Ethan chuckled.

Brandon, who had borrowed some extra winter garments from Ethan, hung tightly around Ethans Mid section as he looked around the mountain that they were flying up. He had never been to the mountains yet, and he wanted to see everything, including Ethans reaction to holding onto him.
"And your friend lives way up the mountain? How strange...." He said before they finally approached the seemingly small cabin. He couldnt see anyone outside, which only meant that they were inside the small cabin, where it was nice and warm.
When Ethan said he could let go, Brandon held on a bit longer as he said "And why should I?" before he chuckled, and let go of Ethan.
Looking around the yard, Brandon could see a small wood shed filled with firewood, a small creek just a ways off. An offshoot of the local waterfall... Quite the cozy little spot. "Are you sure this guy wont mind me being here? I mean... People usually dont invite strangers to their parties...."

Seeing as the two arrivals outside hadn't ventured into the home yet, Celeh focused on talking to the host of the event and her neighbor. "Your supposed roommate shares some heritage with that obnoxious woman who showed up at the battle with Zarbon and interfered so I couldn't help you and the water elementalist. I'm not saying they are linked in any way, mind you. Your friend there seems rather gentle and benevolent."
She paused as Ethar took it upon himself to properly introduce himself. Celeh was dressed in her saiyan armor, which was clearly visible now that her cloak had been removed, extended a hand to him in greeting and replied, "My name is Celeh. I'm a low class warrior from Planet Vegeta...formerly of Planet Vegeta, at least." She trailed off on that last bit, but she at least shook his hand before sitting back down at the table across from him. "So...you're not a native Earthling, are you? Your energy feels drastically different from them."

"Oh yes, Rascal... Yeah, I have had some issues with her in the past, but shes always seemed... .afraid of me ever since we first met. I guess its becuase I threatened to smash her face into the ground if she caused problems for me again." He replied, as he gazed to Summers for a few moments. The small succubus-in-training was humming away while she prepared things for the upcoming party, too focused on having fun while working to pay attention to Celeh or Ethar at this point.
Taking her hand in a gentle, yet firm grasp, Ethar shook her hand in greeting, "Tis a pleasure Miss Celeh. You are actually the first friendly Saiyan I have met in a long time." He replied, letting go of her hand as he also sat down at the table across from Celeh. When she asked him where he was from, since his energy felt different then a humans, he couldnt help but smile. "My energy eh? Not my abnormally pale skin, or flawless complexion? Hah, but you guessed right. Im not from Earth actually. Been here for only a couple of years. Im from the Planet Nor, which is a loooong way from here. Took me a year to get here by normal space travel. Not many people know of Nor, we are mostly secretive Scholars, in a way.... Until my people started to mingle with other races, including Saiyans...Which I am half of." He added, as he then smiled a bit more and asked "Would you like something to drink? I have quite an impressive assortment of beverages..."

”Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap!” Ohkara exclaimed as she rocketed through the sky at the top speed her training weights would allow; pushed against her breast in crossed arms was a brightly-wrapped rectangular package- a gift she’d gone through the ringer to get for Ethar on his Birthday. ”I’m late!!!” Holding onto the present for dear life, she finally began to near Mount Paozu; the sight of the huge mountain enough to cause a smile to drift across her face, and for her to kick the speed up a notch. Full speed ahead, the young woman dipped down under the tree line as she approached it, gracefully bobbing and weaving around the foliage until she was walking distance from Ethar’s cabin. Kicking her feet out, the woman righted herself, and touched down, jogging forwards just in time to catch sight of the back side of her blue-haired boy-toy, and a familiar grey-skinned demon-boy. Today she ditched the traditional yellow gi at home, and instead dressed cutely for the special occasion; much as she had for Ethan’s party. Taking one final glance over herself, she made sure everything was in order; a short black skirt, ending right above the knees, accented with cyan bows that matched her training weights, a low-cut, open-back, black top with a corset-looking midsection, accented with matching bows and lacy-strings, and a large, bright green bow pinning her dark-green hair back in a high ponytail. Topped off with a pair of tight, black and green-stripped leggings, her traditional black combat boots, and last, but not least, her favorite yellow umbrella holstered in her belt, Ohkara was fairly certain she looked more than party-ready. Rushing forwards, towards the pair she giggled lightly, happy to know she wasn’t running as late as she thought she’d been, ”Ethan!~” she shouted from behind, only giving him a moment’s notice before wrapping her arms around him. Turning her head, she cocked her head to the side and looked Brandon over, ”Brandon?~” though her tone was one of surprise, it held no offense; she was just surprised that he’d been invited as well. Shrugging, Ohkara would release Ethan’s waist, and pull around to the free side of him. Slipping ahead of the pair she’d twirl in her outfit, ”Well, boys!~ How do I look?~” she’d asked, finishing her spin she’d blow a kiss to Ethan, then wink at the pair together, ”Absolutely stunning, right?~”
((Edited to include Ohkara's umbrella, as I had forgotten to write it in there. Outfit here! ))

"I'm sure he'll be fine with it." Ethan replied as Brandon pulled his hands out from under the hem of his coat and stepped away. "You did help save the city... after we straitened you out. Besides, if he give you any trouble, just give him a birthday kiss." Ethan chuckled a little at his suggestion, unaware that Ohkara was sneaking up on them. While some people made it their mision in life to detect and track every single energy signature in the universe, Ethan could never see himself enjoying having that constant noise buzzing about in his head, he wasnted to have fun in life, not be a walking radar station, and so never developed the ability further then the most basic of basics. It was of course no surprise then that when Ohkara surprise hugged him, the surprise was well and truly felt.
"Ack!... Heh heh. Holy cow, don't do that." Ethan chuckled to Ohkara. Meeting Ohkara outside before going in though was fortunate, it would buy the teen a minute or two for his rebelious anatomy to calm down and in the mean time they could catch up before heading into the house. Ohkara seemed just as happy to chat and to show off her now outfit as he let go of the blue haired teen, orbited around in front of the two young men and spun about. Ethan wasn't much of a fashion guru but he recognized she'd dressed up nicely again like she had fr his birthday and smiled.
"You look nice." the boy stated, decidedly less shy then the first time she'd asked him that question, although if his memory served him correctly, he was only in a bath towel at the time and she was already teasing him madly. Today though with track pants and a coat to hide his excited anatomy, Ethan was a little more confident in his ability to speak without turning into a puddle, granted that came at the cost of actually hanging to wear the itchy, annoying clothes, but he would tolerate it for a few minutes longer. "So yeah, I brought Brandon along. Didn't want him all alone on the boat with nowhere to go."

Unaware that Ohkara was behind him, and Ethan just gave him a surprise suggestion, Brandon couldnt help but laugh. "You woudlnt get jealous if I did? Hah. You should know that only you get that kind of attention from me." He said, giving Ethan a playful smile and a wink.
When Ohkara surprised hugged Ethan, he jumped a bit to in surprise. "Ohkara!" He said, as the last time they had been together, she had broken his jaw. But since then, he had made a flawless recovery. He was quite surprised to see Ohkara was invited to this party as well, and carrying a present for 'Ethar'.
When she started to show off her outfit and asked what they thought of it, Ethan seemed to be less then excited for the outfit. Brandon on the other hand, was more enthusiastic about her choice of party attire. "You look absolutely ravishing. I must admit, its a bold outfit, but it suits you well! I sooo love how the outfit goes with your hair." He said, feeling a bit bad now since he wasnt dressed up nicely like Ohkara was, and he wasnt handsome enough to pull off the same look Ethan was pulling off.
"Got a Present for the Birthday boy I see! How thoughtful of you" He said, seeing Ohkara with the present.

Celeh could sense the approaching powers, all of which were at least semi-familiar to her, but she didn't make a comment on them for now. She was rather focused on what the host of this apparent get-together had just said while shaking her hand. Her left eyebrow raised and she eyed him intently, "No, I'd imagine you haven't met many friendly saiyans at all, seeing as they are few and far between. I should know that better than anyone else from personal experience." Celeh gave a light sigh before continuing, "Appearances can be manipulated, but your essence cannot be hidden...at least...the nature of it cannot be. I once met a Namekian in battle that could even mask the nature of his energy, though. He looked, and felt, like an entirely different person with his technique. He was the exception, though, and not the rule. You don't encounter complex techniques like that on the battlefield too often." It wasn't entirely relevant, but she wanted to make a bit more idle conversation with him. Drawing on past experiences seemed to be her best option.
"I've heard that this planet has...a certain forte for harboring half-blooded persons, especially half-blooded saiyans. Apparently the war between Earthlings and Saiyans didn't stop romantic relations between the two races, for better or for worse. That's not something I ever bothered to pursue, though." Celeh had never been the romantic sort, at least not as far as she could tell. "You don't seem like a scholar. Certainly your prowess in battle would lead me to believe otherwise, at least."

"Well, your right about that. Im not exactly a scholar... yet. I came here to Earth to study its various cultures, and to protect my mother. I wasnt exactly... a welcomed addition to my family. My mother was a pure blooded Noran dutchess, priestess, and a healer, and my father was, from what my mother told me, a rouge Saiyan General. My mother tells me that Im the first Noran/Saiyan Hybrid. And probably the last to... " He replied, somewhat drifting off into thought.
When Celeh told him that she had not bothered to pursue romantic relations with anyone yet, he couldn't help but smile. "No matter how hard one tries, love will always find a way. Ill bet you a full meal that you will find someone who peaks your romantic interest sometime in the next couple of years. Im not gonna lie, your very attractive AND powerful, and quite strong willed. Those are some pretty damned good traits any person could have." He said, as he also sensed some approching powers. He recognized two of them, but there was one with Ethan he didn't recognize. Was it a new friend of theirs?
Looking over to the small succubus whom was cleaning up the counter space after making what looked like plates of cookies, he said "Summers, we have guests, could you please go greet them?" as she looked at him and nodded happily.
The small succubus hopped off her stool and trotted over to the door and opened it. Her eyes grew wide with excitement as she saw Ethan and Ohkara, and by her playful instinct, she leapt forward, and tackle/hugged Ethan. "Uncle Ethan!" She said, hugging the teen tightly.

Giggling happily at both the reaction she brought out of Ethan, and the approval of her outfit from the two men, she nodded, ”Thanks, guys!~” she exclaimed.
Her eyes shot to Brandon at the comment of Ethan’s house boat, and she tilted her head, ”Oh?” she cooed softly, she hadn’t seen Ethan since he’d recovered from his injuries from the fiasco in Central City, and she hadn’t seen Brandon since that very event. Unbeknownst to her, the two were currently rooming together in Ethan’s boat. ”He’s been staying with you?” she asked Ethan, pointing to Brandon. Of course, there was no ill intent in her voice, just pure curiosity.
Brandon’s question of the gift instantly brought a smile to the young woman’s face, ”Oh yeah!~” she exclaimed, hugging the rectangular box to her chest and bouncing with excitement a bit, ”He is soooooooo gonna love it too!~” Obviously she was proud of whatever it was that she’d picked out; her confidence in her choice of gift remarkable.
With risen brow she looked the pair over one more time, scrunching her face a bit, ”Neither of you brought him anything?” she asked, then huffed and turned around, ”How lame of you…”
It was then the door busted open and a young demoness ran outside, exclaiming for the blue-haired boy behind her. Shrugging, Ohkara slipped inside the door, ”Knock, knock! I’m here for the birthday boy!~” she called, quickly rapping her knuckles against the open door. Yellow eyes scanning the room, she was quick to spot Ethar, whom was talking to yet another familiar face. Taking a few steps inside, Ohkara cocked her head to the side; had she been paying attention she’d have felt Celeh’s energy signature, but she was too caught up it making it in time, then idle conversation, ”Celeh?” she asked, the same tone of curiosity used before in her voice.
Raising a brow she looked from Celeh to Ethar, then shrugged, dropping the curiosity. It was his birthday party after all, ”I hope you didn’t start without us!” she exclaimed excitedly, pushing through the living room to where the brown-haired man was standing. Taking the present in one hand, she’d wrap her arms around him and embrace him in a warm hug, ”Happy Birthday, Ethar!~
