Ohkara let out a sigh as she strode through her ship. There wasn’t much going on, and she needed something to cure the boredom. It had been a while since she’d gone outside, the weather too horrid to suffer through, snow pelting downwards and piling into a thick blanket on the ground. Luckily for her, the heater worked well inside, and she had plenty of food to hold her over for a while. And bunkering down was exactly what she’d done.
Suddenly, an idea popped into her head, stopping her in her tracks. A smile slide over her face and she pivoted on her heel, heading for the small hole in the floor that opened downstairs to the gravity chamber. Taking place in front of the console, she typed in a few commands, and hit execute. Suddenly the gravity shifted, the familiar light change and buzzing making it’s normal appearance. When all was said and done, and things settled, the monitor on the machine read “20Gs”.
The shift was intense, and Ohkara’s knees shifted to keep her standing upright. She now weighed 2,680 pounds, over a literal ton, and that was not including the heavy weights housed in her cyan clothing. The strain on her body was intense, but she managed, just as she had every time she explored a new level of increased gravity. In fact, she’d done this so many times already that she had the perfect routine worked out for getting used to it.
First, she’d start with her stretches, and then work into a few exercises to test the water. Jumping jacks, Sit ups, Push ups, and the like. Once comfortable with that, she’d move into an acrobatic routine, cartwheels, rolls, handstands and handsprings; All to work into the final step of the act. Incorporating her acrobatics into the air with her skill of flight, she’d move work through it countless times more, now hardly touching the ground at all. A beautiful display of grace and pure determination.
Once completed, Ohkara would retrieve a bottle of water from a cooler, and take a drink. Next, the real training would take place. Striding back to the console, she’d take a look at the monitor.
Her finger hovered over the keyboard a moment as she thought to herself. She hadn’t used the Simulator in forever… And that time… She shuddered a bit, shaking off her jitters. And hit the “Y” key, then quickly keyed in the information.
Suddenly the whole aura inside the ship shifted, a figure forming across the room. As it materialized, its features would slowly come into sight…
A humanoid, green in color. He sat cross-legged, floating above the marble floor. His right hand sat on his leg, his left hand was perched on his knee, his fist pressed against his cheek. A thick tail rounded his body, the end coming near his face and slowly wiggling. Ohkara’s eyes widened at the sight on the creature, having a hard time wrapping her head around the sight. He was like nothing she’d ever seen. A weird history this machine seemed to have with spawning fighters… First her father… and now this thing…
The creature’s eyes settled on Ohkara, a piercing cyan wrapped around nothing but blackness. All in all, the thing look rather nonchalant, “Hmmm?” it hummed, spinning a bit in the air to better face the girl.
Taking a few steps forward, Ohkara got a better look at the creature. Its stomach and tail were riddled with random black splotches, reminiscent of a snake. At the tip of the tail was a small eye-looking spot, sitting on top what very well looked like a closed mouth. His abs were purple, and almost looked like alien armor plating. He wore only a baggy white pair of pants, and a belt bearing a double-V crest emblem at the buckle. His feet were weird, brown in color, and also looked like some kind of alien armor.
”W-who are you?” she asked curiously.
”Hmmmm?” he cooed, pushing forwards in the air, but keeping his posing still, ”Who am I you ask?” his voice was somewhat monotone and low, but had a sort of raspy-ness to it. ”You mean to tell me that you don’t know? Hmmm…”
Ohkara took a step back, placing a hand on her hip, and pointing a finger at the creature in front of her, ”Hey! I brought you here to fight me! If you don’t want to tell me your name, then fine, but how about we get to sparring?!”
The creature’s brow rose, his body shifting back a bit at the woman’s sudden exclamation, ”Oh, my dear, you see…” his legs slowly uncurled from under him, his feet touching against the floor, and his hands falling to his sides. A smile slid over his face, soon baring a fanged-grin, ”C.haos doesn’t spar!” his tail once more rounded his shoulder, peaking out only to open into a horrifying sharp-tooth mouth, and give out a mighty roar. Suddenly the thing known as C.haos burst forwards, pulling back a fist and quickly unleashing a furious barrage of punches at the girl, his tail too throwing its own punches and even bites.
Ohkara was quick to throw up her defenses, working with her limbs to negate as much damage as possible. This thing was fast, his power level easily somewhere near two hundred-thousand, surpassing even her own. Still, she held up to his barrage, working slowly to turn the tables and take up the offensive herself. As C.haos pulled his hand back to ready a hardy punch, Ohkara’s feet flew into action. Her right foot connected hard with his face, her body twisting in the air to ready a second on. Bringing her knee to her chest, she kicked her foot forwards and connected with the man’s abs.
Letting out a huff, C.haos was propelled backwards a bit, his body slowly skidding to a stop a few meters away. His creepy smile had yet to leave his face, and he gently brushed his tail against his abs, as it brushing a bit of dirt from them, ”You’re not bad, girl. But you can’t beat me!” his eyes narrowed as he stared her down, the intensity growing, ”Why don’t you join me and become perfect?~” he cooed, then let out an evil laugh.
Ohkara let out a huff, ”You!? Perfect!?” she laughed, taunting him, ”Perfect isn’t doesn’t exsist! Perfect isn’t real!” she shouted, clenching a fist, ”No one can ever be perfect! Not you, Not me, Nobody!”
C.haos laughed menacingly, shaking his head, ”My, my, my, you humans are so ignorant. You can’t comprehend perfection even when it’s staring you in the face. On second thought, I think I’d much rather kill you. You don’t deserve to see me achieve my perfection.”
Suddenly the green-skinned monster sprang forwards, his hands lashing out and quickly finding Ohkara’s throat. The young woman let out a painful gasp as the creature’s fingers wrapped around her neck, tightening and cutting off her air supply. Her eyes widened, her face quickly turning blue.
”Yesss…” C.haos hissed happily, his eyes staring directly into hers, ”Now you see how dire of a situation this is for you… I don’t know how, but this machine of yours has given me a second life! And this time around, I’m inclined to stay alive and reach my perfection. Nobody will stand in my way! Not you, not Ammaranth, not anyone!”
Ohkara’s eyes widened even more, her hands had found themselves wrapped around the creature’s wrists. Was this thing crazy!? For some reason, things were starting to feel like she had acquired a very defective Simulator.
Suddenly Ohkara’s muscles bulged, her hands beginning to pull away from the beast’s grasp. As her power level rose well above him, two-times, three-times, even more; her transformation allowing her to utilize a hidden Inner-Strength within her.
Her foot reared up, connecting with a hard kick at the creature’s stomach. This time he went flying, crashing hard against the wall on the other side of the room. Watching, Ohkara let out a grunt, ”Whelp, I guess this is as good a time as any to give this a try!” she said.
Her hands rose above her head, and energy began to form, building into a sphere, then compacting and turning into spinning discs. Hurling them at the creature, she jumped back and held two fingers to the sky. Waggling it through the air, she directed the discs, pulling them around the console at the center, and back towards the green creature.
Rounding the room, the discs neared their target, and tore into him. He let out a howl as the saw-like blasts cut into his skin, tearing his body into four pieces. Falling to the floor, he let out another howl. For the moment, it seemed he’d been defeated.
Letting out a small laugh, Ohkara stepped forwards, ”Oh man!” she exclaimed, ”I can’t believe that worked! Still… it was a little… uh… brutal…” Wincing a bit, she rounded the room herself, heading to see her aggressor. Sure enough, he was in pieces on the ground. His tail remained attached to his main body, and lifted, turning to look at Ohkara with its eye-like spots.
Slowly, the mouth opened, and it let out a laugh, ”Not bad, kid…” it said, its tone a bit different than before… somehow more darker… ”But you really have to try harder if you want to beat me!” the second sentence came from the mouth at his head. Suddenly C.haos’s limbs exploded out of his body, and he pushed hard against the floor, jumping upwards and rapping his body around the girl, this time in an attempt to crush her. She could feel his body weight increasing somehow as she struggled against his grip. She’d been caught off guard, and he’d somehow played on it.
”Well, if that’s how we’re going to play, then have some off this!” She shouted, her fists clenched, and she let out a roar, ”Hyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
Building energy at her core, she’d force it outward in a powerful explosion. Starting from her center, the blast would burn outwards, encompassing her in a sphere relative to her elevated power, and filling the room with her toxic green ki.
C.haos let out a howl of his own, unable to fight off the girl’s attack. And his howl would fade as the explosion devoured him, breaking his body down to unregenerate levels. This was it for him. There would be no more resurrections. No more second chances… Maybe had he played things differently with the young girl, and gained her trust, he would still exist. But in that very brief moment, C.haos felt something he’d never felt before… He was truly at ease…
Letting out a sigh, Ohkara took a few steps back, resting a hand on the console. That had been truly exhausting… With her breath returning to normal, Ohkara swiped a hand over the keyboard, and wiped the sweat from her brow. The room’s lighting returned to normal, the humming sound kicking on, and then slowly muting out, as the gravity too would return to normal.
Turning tail, Ohkara headed for the opening in the ceiling, ”Whelp, I guess now that that’s over, I’m gonna take a shower, grab a bite, and take a nap! Guess I’ll have to get someone to look at that damn Simulator for me before I use it again…” she told herself, setting her feet onto the floor of her upstairs living space, ”Buuut, I do have to admit… It is kinda fun the way it is now!~”
Suddenly, an idea popped into her head, stopping her in her tracks. -Thread in. Powerlevel requested; Heavy weights, x20 Gravity, and Simulator in effect.-
Three techiques requesting review and approval.
Violent Frisbee Barrage -
A variant of Violent Frisbee.
Allows the user to throw multiple discs, two at a time, up to six in a single post.
Violent Frisbee Control -
A variant of Violent Frisbee + Violent Frisbee Barrage.
Allows the user to control all active discs in unison by directing them with two risen fingers. Control may split between the discs by raising the other hand in the same fashion; however each grouping can only be controlled by their corresponding fingers. Discs all move in unison according to the controlling fingers, and as such accuracy is reduced when directing more than two.
Explosion!~ -
User builds energy at their core, allowing them to utilize the full capacity of their maximum energy output very quickly. However, this quick buildup is very unstable and results in a violent explosion, wrapping the user in a sphere of their own ki the size depending on how much energy is used, and leaving them a bit tired, but unharmed. The energy outside the sphere is much like that of an Energy Wave in nature.
