After a hard day of working on his home, and studying the magical tome that Ohkara had gotten for his birthday in the previous year, Ethar had decided that it would be a good time to head to a cozy locally owned pub near the bottom of the mountain.
Packing up and putting his wallet in his back pocket, Ethar slung his coat on and glided down the mountain as night time slowly crept up.
When he arrived at the small pub, Snow had started to fall from the sky, forcing him to run indoors and wipe some of the melting snow off of him. "Is it snowing out there?" A waitress asked as she heard the door close and saw Ethar had come into the pub. With a nod, he replied "Yeah, I just came down to relax a bit. Got anything special on tonight Diane?" as the waitress grabbed a menu and walked over to Ethar.
She showed him to a booth where he sat down. She replied "Barbequed Ribs. With a side of Garlic toast, potates and Vegetables. Would you like a plate?" and Ethar nodded again. "Yes please, and one White Russian to start please." He said as the Waitress took the menu and told him that it would take a short while to make and walked off to the kitchen. Tonight looked like he was going to spend another night alone.
Looking outside, he saw that somewhat of a blizzard had started to kick up...

What Ethar didnt know, was that someone had been watching him come into the pub. A figure wearing a cloak that was getting covered in, whom was none other then Astra Luxun, who was watcher her father in the pub relaxing. "Relax Astra, you can do this... All your going to do is talk to him, drop off the money you brought for him, then leave. He doesnt have to know who you are." She said, trying to make herself calm and not panic.
With a deep breathe, She opened the door and saw the Waitress bringing Ethar his drink caught sight of her. "Ill be with you in a moment." The waitress said, but Astra spoke out and said "Its ok, I wont be here long. But A water will be nice, thank you." as the waitress dropped off Ethars drink and went to get Astra drink.
Gazing over to Ethar, who would probably be looking at her, she was thankful her face was hidden. She walked over to the booth he had been sitting in...

Hearing the door opened, Ethar turned his head and saw a cloaked figure had entered the pub. It had a strong energy signature, and felt vaugely familiar somehow. HE couldnt place it, and when the figure spoke, he knew it was a woman.
She walked over to his booth. The female figure had come to do something with him, and Ethar hoped it was to just talk. Looking up, he tried to see the face of the unknown person, but what he caught was something he did not expect. Her scent. A few subtle sniffs, he could tell she was wearing perfume, almost too much. Was she hiding her scent? But whats more, Ethar recognized the perfume. Ohkara wore that, but the figures voice didnt match Ohkaras voice.
Was this woman a friend of Ohkaras? Or did she just have the same perfume by coincidence? He was curious to find out, But first he had to find out what this woman wanted with him. "May I help you miss?" He asked, curious to see how she would reply.

Astra got nervous as Ethar spoke to her. She remember that he indeed had a soft voice, but it was deeper in her timeline.
She sat down in the booth across from him and gulped nervously. "I need to give you something. A-And I dont want you to ask any questions about me, or why Im giving this to you." She said, as she reached into her pocket to take out a large bundle of Zenie. She placed it on the table, and pushed it towards Ethar. "16,000 Zenie. Consider it a gift." She said, hoping that Ethar would take her advice about not asking questions.
The waitress arrived with Astra's water, and she said "Thank you." And instinctively, Astra pushed her hood off of her face and took a sip. Then she immediately froze. She had exposed her face to Ethar, and probably made things even more worse...
She braced for the worst...

Ethar watched as teh woman had placed a large amount of currency on the table, and pushed it to him. He looked confused as he picked it up as she told him how much was there.
If he had been drinking at the time, he would of spat it out. "Sixteen Thousand Zenie?! How....Where...?!" He started to ask, wondering why someone would give him such an insane amount of cash with no questions asked. When Diane the waitress came back with the girls water, she had thrown her hood back to drink the water. That is when Ethar was able to see her full face, and looked on curiously as she had seemingly frozen in place.
"Miss, your eyes...." He started to say as he looked into the young womans eyes. They to seemed a bit familiar to him, and yet he couldnt place it. But he knew the style of eye he was looking into and smiled softly. "Your from Nor arent you? By the gods, its about time another Noran came to Earth... And your a halfling with a Saiyan to!" He said, as he spotted the tip of her tail underneath the cloak.
Ethar started to get excited in a way he hadn't before, For he was excited to finally see another from his homeworld!

Astra started to panic, and sweat a bit as her 'father' noticed her eyes, and started to question her a bit. She could tell he was excited to see another person from their home planet, but she couldnt truthfully answer his questions fearing she would give away her identity.
"Um, I am from Nor yes. And I am only a quarter Noran, and three quarters Saiyan..." Astra said as she quickly drank her water, and tried to get up to leave. She got up out of the booth and put her hood back over her head. She had to get out of there before she created a huge and major time paradox.
"Im Sorry Ethar, I... I cant talk to you anymore. My very life is in danger the longer I talk to you..." She said as she started towards the door. She hoped her father would not follow her and ask more questions. Its the least thing she would want now.

Watching the girl get up, and saying that she could not talk to him anymore, Ethar immediately knew something was up and got up as well. "Whats wrong?" He asked, as she started to make her way to the door, saying that her life was in danger just by talking to him.
"Are you an outcast like me? How are things on Nor? There is much that I need to know miss! What about your name?" He asked, as he tried to follow the girl outside. So many things didn't make sense. Why was she really trying to avoid him after giving him an absurd amount of currency? Was she hiding from someone, or something?
"Miss, I can protect you! Please, tell me what the matter is!" He said, hoping his words would slow the girl down, or stop her from running altogether...

Oh no, He IS following me... I have to lose him now! Astra thought as she broke out into a run into the blizzard. She took an immediate left around the corner of the building.
When she was out of sight, she used her Zanzoken to put as much distance between her and Ethar as she could, hoping that he wouldnt track her with his ability to sense energies. She also hoped that their extremely brief encounter would also play a key role, since Ethar wouldn't of had time to study her energy signature to be able to track it.
Vanishing into the blizzard, Astra would quickly make her way back to her apartment downtown. Extremely nervous, and panting heavily as she hoped that her father didnt track her to her home...

Quickly trying his best to follow the woman into the snow, Ethars foot hit a patch of slushy snow, causing him to slip and fall down onto the sidewalk, causing him to lose sight of the girl. "Oof." He grunted, as he quickly got up and looked around for the girl who had vanished into the nightly blizzard.
"Well, that was beyond odd..." Ethar said as he scratched his head. "Least I know theres another Noran here on Earth. A girl infact, I wonder who she was." He asked himself, as he dusted off the slush and snow as he made his way back into the pub and sat back down. "Oh good, you did come back, I was worried for a moment." The waitress said as she had come out of the kitchen with a large BBQ rib dinner, with all the fixings and set it down at Ethar's table.
"Do you know who that girl was Diane? Did she seem a bit...off to you?" He asked the waitress as she shook her head. "Im sorry, this is the first time I've seen her. Pretty young thing, Shame she ran out like she did. Didn't even give you a chance to grab her phone number." She said as Ethar laughed. "Dating is a bit more complicated for me then that Im afraid. But thank you for bringing me this fine looking meal DIane. My best wishes and thanks to the Chef." He replied with a smile.
A moment late,r he too ka sip of his drink, picked up his fork and knife, and started to munch on his delicious evening meal. All the while his mind was thinking about that strange girl...
