Shale looked up with a bit of shock. "Definitely not a human. What are you, exactly?" She asked with a quirked eyebrow. She'd met a lot of people, but she was pretty sure no races she knew of knitted up that quickly, or that well. "Tch." Shale grunted, before jumping up. "...Don't get too carried away. That was a love top at best." Shale added, before Kicking up dust again. Firing another blast, Shale Smirked as she fired... not at Ethar himself, but at the tree he'd just recently dropped and forgot about. the Wooden log exploded into a bunch of splinters and created a veritable mess of shrapnel. At this point, Shale would smirk, creating a zanzoken to cover her approach as she Popped up at Ethar's back and kicked out with a low kick, aiming to knock him off of his feet.

"I am a hybrid. Half Noran, Half Saiyan. Though, much of my Saiyan genes are dormant at this time." He replied, but Shale quickly tried to kick up more dirt at him, forcing him to shield his face again.
He then heard another explosion near him, and felt some of the wood pierce his skin. This was a bit more painful then the pieces of rock, since they were smaller. He peeked through his hands to see what Shale was up to, and lost sight of her.
He quickly sensed where she was, and quickly jumped up, causing Shale's low kick to miss its marker.
It was now time to go back on an offense, as Ethar twisted his body, causing him to turn in mid-jump as he attempted to send a good strong kick right into the side of Shale's head.

Shale ducked low. "half saiyan, huh? Explains the shitty attitude..." Shale added with her eyes narrowed. "...Well, that's a little unkind." She admits, as she ducks below the attack, jumping from a low, squatting position to get out of Ethar's way. Stopping herself with a single hand, the woman tumbled back up, holding one of the larger remaining fragments of wood as a make-shift staff. "...Ain't Saiya-jin supposed to be merciless, or somethin', though?" She asked questioningly, before grinning. Throwing the staff up in the air, she followed along with it in a quick jump, before sending the new projectile flying at her opponent with a kick, turning it into a wooden missile.

"Surprisingly, My father wasnt as heartless as you might think. Infact, He was the opposite. My mother told me, that my father was a general of the Saiyan's army, but he had left since they were too violent. Or something like that. They tracked him down and killed him for his betrayal. Then years later, their new replacement general and queen ended up invading Earth, and I was one of the resistance fighters.... So Im not all keen on alot of Saiyans right now either." He said, as Shale evaded his attack, and moved away to pick up some wood.
It wasnt long after that Ethar saw what Shale picked up the wood and kicked it hard to work as a projectile. Ethars right hand glowed with his ki, forming a sword as he used it to cut the wooden missile in half, causing them to miss him completely.
"I like your skills. Using your environment to battle your opponent is a pretty good tactic. But let me show you something.... Ever heard of a Super Saiyan?" He asked with a smirk on his face. Ethar had a pretty neat idea on how to spook this girl, and maybe use it to win their spar, but if this girl didnt know much about Saiyans, it could be a potential waste...

Shale shrugged. "Not a heartless saiyan..." Shale shrugged. "lotta stuff for yer backstory. I'll believe a nice full-blooded saiyan when I see it though." She stated with a frown. "We got a fight to focus on, anyways..." She added with a more neutral expression.
Shale's grin continued even as Ethar cut the wooden spear from the air, but started to falter as the man spoke of Super Saiyans. "That's the myth about, uhhh... the golden-haired super-powered warriors, right?" Shale added with a raised eyebrow. "I, uhh... can't say I know much about them. I don't read a heck of a lot of fiction..." She added, her voice faltering slightly.
There was... There was no way, right? She didn't just run into someone like that randomly on Mount Paozu. There was no way.

"If I ever get a chance to travel backward in time, Ill introduce ya." He said as he saw her expression change when he mentioned Super Saiyans. "Myths? Oho, this is going to be interesting..." He thought as he smirked.
While the only Super Saiyans he ever saw were Akassa and Goku, he didn't have too much to base his own transformation off of, but he had a fairly good idea. "Well, it just so happens... I have the ability to become a Super Saiyan." He said as he took a step backwards from Shale.
He didnt want Shale to know, but Ethar did not really have this ability for real yet, but his illusion magic should be enough to spook the girl enough to surrender the match. "Allow me to show you." He said, as he clenched his fists. His power level seemingly started to rise up, as a few sparkles of magic dabbled off of this fists, as what appeared to be the pieces of wood around him started to shake and rise up into the air. "HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He shouted, as his Aura flared up, and slowly turned from a Blood Red colour to a gold colour.
It would then explode in a bright light for a moment, only to subside to reveal Ethar standing there. The golden aura visible, and his hair was standing up, all golden coloured, as anyone nearby with energy sensing abilities would feel Ethar's power just over 1 Million.
Grinning, Ethar asked "What do you think? Not a myth now is it?"

Shale's eyes widened, as Ki radiated across her body. The pressure was immense for Shale, and the woman looked up, for just a second, with a blank stare. The power Ethar was giving out... she didn't think someone could be strong. The soft hum of the golden power formed around him was immense. JUst looking into the grinning pranksters eyes...
so... this is a Super Saiyan?
Shale put a hand in front of her defensively, her Fist shaking. Was it... fear? Shale realized her entire body was trembling. And yet... it wasn't stopping her from moving. A tingling energy raced across her body, and a grin formed broadly across her face before she'd even noticed. Shale's body felt light, and it felt like she could move better than she ever had before.
"...Not a myth then, huh?" Shale asked with a smile. She didn't know what she was saying or why - Every rational thought in her mind said to run, give up, something
And yet...
"...Then show me!" Shale yelled, before dashing forward, green lightning sparking as her power level spiked, her inner energies released as she went for a sudden barrage of punches. A duet of Zanzokens followed, one attempting to attack him from the front, before appearing behind Ethar and going for a kick.
The real Shale, however, would appear back in front of Ethar, holding up her hands as Lightning and energy sparked around them. A solid ball of ivory energy encircled by sparking green lightning sat between Shale's glowing emerald palms. "Hahhhhh..." Shale exhaleed, before unleashing the wave of energy. The Choubakuretsumaha knocked away a significant part of the forest as it rushed forward in a solid, ivory beam of power, Aimed away from the house... but towards Brandon.

Ethar watched, as his illusion had its mental effect, but he would see that the girl was quite strong and went to attack him reguardless.
This forced Ethar to actually trigger his Soif du Sang transformation underneath his illusion, making his real PL over 580,000 when he felt the girls power increase in an attempt to match up to the fake PL he was giving off.
With his officially increased power, and no equipment holding him back, Ethar watched as Shale moved in to throw multiple punches. And with the help of his Noran reflexes, Ethar moved to block each and every one of her punches.
He then saw her move to his rear and attempt to attack him there as well. But when he turned around to block the attack, it faded. An After image!
And right as he turned to face forward again, Shale was standing before him with an energy blast ready to go. And before he could say anything, she fired off a powerful beam at him. Immediately cupping his hands to the side, Ethar said "Kamehameha!" as a ball of energy quickly formed in his hands. He threw his hands forward as his own beam of energy burst forth, and slammed into Shales own energy beam.
And it only took a moment or two before Ethars attack overtook Shale's own attack, and headed straight for her!

To say Ethan was bad at keeping in touch with friends was an understatement the blue haired teen could literally go weeks or sometimes a few months at a time before reaching out from his little tropical island paradise. Of course the same could be said for his friends, and one might even conjecture they were even worse at staying in touch than he was, since the last group outing was organized by him. In any case, Ethan had had his fill of sun and surf for the day and felt the need to go check up on some of his friends. Seeing as it had been some time since he’d paid Ethar a visit and had offered to help him build the extension on his place, the shirtless teen reasoned that it was about time he made good on the offer, even if it was decidedly late.
Dressed in his usual attire of blue camouflage styled board shorts, similarly colored sneakers and gloves and his head phones, the tanned young man stepped out onto the aft deck of his boat, jumped off the deck and a moment before he would have hit the water, materialized his translucent blue surf board and took off across the waves. It had been a while since he’d last visited Ethar’s house, thankfully this time the visit wouldn’t be in a the dead of winter, so the boy could remain in his preferred attire. He would have offered to bring Brandon along, lord knows that guy needed a bit of socializing, he’d gotten dark and broody the past few weeks and Ethan, for the life of him, couldn’t figure out why. Perhaps it was the isolation? They were quite a distance from Metropolis Island, so commuting daily wasn’t exactly easy for a guy who couldn’t fly. Ethan would have been happy to fly him, he very much enjoyed being close to the other young man, but his grey skinned companion’s mood had soured so must so that he barely left his neighboring little island. ‘Oh well, his loss.’ the shirtless teen told himself as he rocketed across the ocean, headed for the mainland.
Finding the river he usually used to navigate up to the mountains, Ethan cruised along, gaining some altitude so as not to collide with any small boats or even barges that might be on the river. Sailing up the river on his energy board, Ethan soon left the familiar waterway as his course took him up into the mountains and along a series of streams. One of them he remembered, ran right by his friend’s house, however as he was tracing their course, the thundering rumble of an explosion ahead rolled through the valley. While not skilled in sensing energy, Ethan couldn’t miss the spikes caused by the discharges of attacked back and forth. Judging by the rapidity, there were two or more people fighting each other near Ethar’s house. When the teen arrived on the scene though, he was astonished to find that Ethar’s house had been obliterated, as had several trees in the area. More surprising was that the blown haired young man was in combat, bare to the waist and battling with a woman of all things.
“What the hell happened here?” the boy asked rhetorically. It seemed pretty obvious to him, this lady, who ever she was, had destroyed the other male’s home. It looked like he’d decided to visit on the right day, just a little too late in arriving. Little did the blue haired teen know, the destruction had been cause weeks ago and his assumption about the culprit was entirely wrong, minus the gender that is. In any event, he was here and had to do something to help, though he wasn’t sure yet if Ethar had noticed his presence, so Ethan settled on a tactic that would change that, however without rushing headlong into the battle. Bringing his board to a halt, Ethan looked to the waterfall next to Ethar’s property and extended his hands, focusing his control on the running water. Within moments, the water was no longer flowing down over the cliff, but up, forming what could only be described as an enormous, aqueous club.

Shale looked up with the beam overcoming her attack with a jolt of surprise. The energy was strong - one of the strongest she'd ever felt in her life. Still, if that was all a super saiyan actually threw out...
Well... She bet her old man could've beat him.
Her, on the other hand... Shale looked down to the ground beneath her and punched hard, displacing the dirt just as the kamehameha wave struck the flying fragments and vaporized them. Luckily for Shale, she managed to get clear of the blast as it zoomed into the forest behind her.
"...phew!" Shale puffed, before grinning. Rather than leave the makeshift foxhole, shale utilized just a teensy-weensy touch of flight (it should hardly count, or at least that's how she felt.), to push through the ground, utilizing the beam as a distraction before she popped up and through the ground in front of Ethar, hoping to catch him off-guard with an underground uppercut. This was looking worse by the second, really - She could tell just from these few attacks she didn't have a prayer, even with the weirdly enhanced strength she'd suddenly obtained, of taking this guy without exploiting some weakness. She'd just have to find one...

Ethar was smiling, thinking his beam was enough to push Shale out of 'the ring' and earn him a victory. But just as he had finished his attack, He saw the woman had gone and there was just a hole remaining. "By the gods, I didnt vaporize her did I?" He asked, as he quickly felt around for her energy, but quickly felt another nearby and recognized it. Looking up to Ethan, Ethar let his guard down and waved to Ethan and started to shout, hoping to get him to call off his attack. "Hey Eth...." He started to say, but Shale burst out of the ground with an uppercut that hit him on the nose, literally. IT caught him completely by surprise, enough to knock the illusion off, revealing Ethar's Soif du Sang form. "Ow!" He said as he recoiled back from the attack and held his nose as it bled a bit. No matter how much one could power up, a persons nose was always...usually somewhat sensitive. "Ya dove underground to avoid my attack? Pretty clever miss Evans! Shall we call this match a draw...for now?" He asked, as he sniffed a bit and rubbed his nose a bit as the bleeding stopped. Still remaining transformed, Ethar looked back up to Ethan. "Come on down Ethan. Id like to introduce you to my newest student!" He said. The small succubus-in-training that was watching from teh safety of some large stones nearby huffed and mumbled "I guess it would be weird to go on a date with a student... Ethar, your so stupid sometimes... I try and try to help ya get a girlfriend, but your just too stupid....Yeesh..." as she walked down into the remains of Ethars basement to continue cleaning up inside.

Shale looked up with disbelief. She could feel the man's strength go down... or maybe that's what it really was all along - though his power was still significantly more than hers. Nonetheless... "That... ain't no super saiyan I've ever seen." Shale added at seeing his new form, before chuckling. "...Shoulda known, really. You just said your saiyan genes were dormant anyways. Super saiyan... ya got me hook, line and sinker."
Shale cracked her neck. "...A draw works for me." Shale finally stated with a shrug. Some primal urge in her body wanted her to keep fighting, to test her limits against this guy, but... Shale's smile faded... she'd felt a little too like her old self at the end. This was a sparring match, but she'd started looking at it as something a little deadlier. Best to stop for now, get her breathing under control.
As Ethan and Ethar began conversing, though, shale couldn't help but give a small smile at the statement of "student" - even if it was reaching just a little. "Mind introducing me to who waterboy with all the pecs is, honored teacher?" Shale asked with a slight chuckle. "Or maybe just tell me where he got his tan. Never managed to get one myself." She added with a slim smile. This new guy had powers over water... Shale wanted to see more of his abilities, maybe see if she couldn't learn from them - or outright steal them, if she figured out the trick to it. She felt little guilt over learning the powers of people she came across - it was all to use them for the good of the world, and no patent existed in martial arts.

As Ethan hovered above on his board, watching the altercation below, the blue haired boy cringed at the power of the next attack unleashed by his friend. The ground between the two combatants erupted in a hail of debris and Ethan too was fooled by the young lady's method of escape. Indeed, he was about to yell at Ethar for using such an overkill move when his opponent burst back out of the ground and attacked the brown haired young man, though at current his appearance seemed somewhat variable. In any case, the exchange was short and before Ethan had reason to interfere, the battle was abruptly ended and his presence noted. Ethar looked up to him and greeted the teen, explaining that she was evidently a student of his. Funny, he didn't remember the man being a teacher.
"Student? By the looks of it when I arrived, I thought she blew up your house and you two were trying to kill each other." Ethan called down as he closed a fist and then slowly opened it again, using the gesture to settle the water he'd been collecting back into the stream, although this did cause a bit of mild flooding along the banks bellow the waterfall. "What did happen to your house anyway?" the shirtless teen asked as his board descended to the ground, dissolving into nothing the moment it's three fins touched the upturned soil.
As he landed, the young lady spoke up, asking Ethar to be properly introduced to him, terming Ethan rather amusingly, the 'Water boy with all of the pecs.' Ethan snorted and chuckled at the description and at her remark about his tan, and then stepped forward to offer his hand. He was perfectly capable of introducing himself after all. "Hehehe! Pecs eh? Nice. Hi, I'm Ethan." the boy greeted her with his usual friendly tone and a world brightening smile. "And spend a few weeks on the ocean with me and you'll have a tan of your very own." Ethan continued with another chuckle.

"Nah, she didn't blow my house up. Another person named Sephiroth did. I was in the process of rebuilding it when my newest 'guest' showed up. This is Shale Evans." He replied, as he looked over to Shale and said "Ethan is one of my best friends, and is one of the other strongest fighters on the planet. And he HATES to wear shirts." as he couldnt help but laugh a small bit.
It was then Ethan seemingly joked about spending time on the ocean with him to get a tan like his. This made Ethar cross his arms and shake his head. "Shes only saying that becuase Im always slightly pale. So you can keep your pants on Ethan. Heh." He added, hoping to make the teen embarrassed a small bit. Then it dawned on Ethar, as he wondered why Ethan was even at his place. Since Ethar's place was quite a bit out of the way to begin with.
"So Ethan, What brings you all the way up here? I havent skipped out on property taxes lately, so I doubt your here to collect any money from me. Heh."

Shale sat back with a smug smirk as the two talked back and forth. The strongest on earth, huh?... Bah. She bet her old man could've given them both a run fro their money, transformation or no. Still... Shale smiled. "Like he had a chance with a line like that anyway." Shale said, tilting her head as she threw up a shrug with a smug grin. "'fraid I've heard a lot better, compadre." She added, before chuckling. "besides, I'm a little more trouble than you'd want. Trust me on that." Shale added with a grin.
Taking a deep breath, she took in the feeling of their ki. Sadly, her sensing was fairly weak at the moment, so she couldn't judge much, but... strong. surprisingly so."Well, like your friend said, name's Shale. Shale Evans. Pleased to meet'cha." She added with a chuckle, extending her hand for a handshake - then generating a bit of energy through the palm to push off the dust and grime. "Martial artist and general do-gooder. Seems we got similar professions."
