Celeh had given three or four days of gravity training at five times gravity a go, and now she felt confident in her ability to push the dial to the next level. She entered the gravity chamber once again and turned the dial up to double what it had been for her previous training. A solid ten times Earth's normal gravity. She wasn't immediately floored this time, thanks to the preparation she'd made to handle this level of gravity. She trained in five times gravity until she was able to move around in it freely before she attempted to come up to times ten. It really paid off, too. Despite being a little sore from the last few days of training, Celeh found herself able to stand up with a bit of effort. Before when she had tried five times gravity, it slammed her to her knees upon activation. This already felt like a small triumph for her, but the real training was about to begin. This time around she wouldn't slow herself down with the simple exercises she'd done when she first tested the machine at times five.
This time she went straight into full on shadow boxing. Memories flooded back to her...the last fight she had with her older brother Aspar before he perished on a mission. It still replayed in her mind sometimes, even during her dreams. It was a fond, and haunting, memory. It was the first time she'd beaten him in a one on one spar...and also the last time she'd ever saw him. That chapter of her life had been put to rest. She had never been able to find the one responsible for his death...but she could no longer pursue it. The emotions attached to that battle kept her going, though, and kept reminding her that she had to continue pushing forward. Aspar always pushed forward...even when he was in over his head.
It was that mindset that spurred Celeh onward, and in this case, motivated her to push herself to handle more and more intense training. Ten times Earth's gravity was terrifyingly difficult to handle...and yet she leaped into the air and kicked before landing in a crouch, sliding forward with an upward kick, and then springing back to her feet with all fours shoving off the floor. A quick burst of three or four blasts from each palm spattered against the wall of the facility, shaking it lightly. It didn't give way, though, as it was built for heavy punishment. She landed on one foot and gave a swift back kick, followed by and spinning backfist and then dropping down to both knees to deliver a mule kick towards an imaginary opponent's stomach.
When her feet touched the floor again she was in position for some simple push-ups, which she began doing with gusto. She started on her palms, then shifted to her fingertips. Strengthening her fingers was something she wanted to do in preparation for a technique she wanted to create, but that was for down the road. Right now she was focused on simply getting stronger. After a hundred pushups, she rolled onto her back and started doing leg lifts to build her core.
Celeh finally felt like she was growing accustomed to the way that intensified gravity felt in general. The pulling on every fiber of her body started to feel less awkward and more 'natural'. Her motions were becoming instinctively well balanced as to prevent any loss of stamina or momentum when training in the gravity chamber. It was a small improvement, mind you, but it was enough for her to feel the difference The effort to sustain full speed movement in higher than normal gravity was staggering. Simple tasks became grueling and even the most basic of physical attacks felt as though she had to put her full power behind them just so she didn't collapse to the floor halfway through the execution.
She was sweating much sooner this time around, as she wasn't holding anything back. She wasn't flying in this gravity, but she did leap and slide around while throwing barrages of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. Her tail whipped and jabbed in sync with the rest of her, bridging the gap between one set of blows and the next to keep her near endless combination of strikes going. What seemed like three or four hundred blows had passed and Celeh's breathing was very labored and heavy.
The Saiyan kept at it, though. She paused only for a moment to reset her stance. As soon as she was comfortable in her starting stance and had her full balance again, she leaped straight up with a rising knee and then came down with a falling heel axe all the way to the floor. She rolled to the side and whipped her tail to cover her back in case of a counter attack before following it with a hand-stand whirlwind kick. Energy erupted from her palms to lift her off the ground and into the air.
For all the preparation and training to took to reach this point, a mere ten times gravity, the training itself lasted for a short thirty minutes. Celeh had to push with all her strength and resolve to train at this level, and so it exhausted her quickly. Once the gravity training was over she knew she'd spend most of the rest of the day just stretching and working out the soreness to be ready for tomorrow. It was a very different training regiment compared to what she'd done in the past with a focus on endurance. This training was about increasing her strength and speed as quickly as possible. She only hoped that some endurance would come with it over time.
When Celeh collapsed after her lengthy gravity training session this time, she fell unconscious. She'd just enough time to flip the off switch before falling to the floor and passing out in a pool of her own sweat. It was short and sweet, but right now this was as much as she could handle. She could only focus on doing better tomorrow.
