This time of year the streets of Central City were packed elbow to elbow. A fresh blanket of snow was effectively shoveled off the sidewalks from all the foot traffic. There was a soothing hum of conversation and life as everyone moved about, and as the sun set on the horizon and the thousands of colorful Christmas light displays sprang to light, one couldn’t help but feel the Christmas spirit. As some small flakes of snow danced down from the heavens, a loud bell ringing would cut through the chatter and traffic, ringing throughout the whole city. RING!~ RING!~ RING!~ RING!~ RING!~
The source would be found at the north-most point of Central Park, the space in front of the Presidential Building. With the huge trees and pathways decorated festively, it was not hard to see exactly where the ringing came from. At the center of the stage, right in front of the 100 foot tall festively decorated pine tree, was a man dressed in red and white. His white beard, rosy-red cheeks, and large, round, jello-like tummy an obvious give-away to his identity.
“Ho-Ho-Ho! I am St. Nick! I am seeking the strongest warriors to aid in taking down a fiend that has been terrorizing our northern-most villages!” In his other hand he held a clip-board with a sign-up sheet for participants, which he happily held out to show the crowd gathering around him. "Unfortunately, I can't tell you much about the monster, but from what we understand he is extremely powerful. We are asking he is returned alive in order for you to receive your reward! You will form team(s) and take the beast on together. Teamwork is mandatory, as the prizes will be rewarded to the whole party, not any single person. Do you have what it takes to get the job done?"Setting his hand on a beautifully crimson sleigh parked on the stage behind him he chuckled, "I have enough room in my sleigh to take all out participants to the last place the beast was spotted when everyone is ready!" the Sleigh had large rockets to the side of either ski, two rows of bench seating, and a large, empty trunk compartment that normally housed the huge bag of toys the man carried. Strangely, there were no mystical reindeer to pull the vehicle, but upon second glance at the rockets and their sleek, CC logo, there was need to no questioning why, "Please help us bring a stop to this menace, and save the holidays for our neighbors to the North!"
OUR FIRST MINI-SAGA!~ Brought to you by your favorite, green-haired beauty, Ohkara!~<3Should a warrior place there name on the sheet they will be entered into a Holiday Event! This event is what we are coining a “mini-saga”, and as such the rules are a bit different from other events. Firstly, death is not permitted to any player without strict permission from said player. Unlike in a normal saga, in this one no player is required to die! So don’t be intimidated by what might be in store for you in this wild event! Secondly, your gains will not be modified like in a Saga thread, however as this is a mini-saga you will be rewarded zeni as well. Upon completion of the task at hand, of course! Lastly, this event will take place after the saga is concluded so we can honor the gains that will be rewarded there. Unlike in a saga where you are “Locked” from making new threads, this one will be fluid like a regular thread. That said, you are welcome to enter and exit threads while in this one! Oh yeah! The best part is in this event you are encouraged to use your second character! To prevent things from getting too hectic we will be split up into appropriate teams and allow for separate events to take place simultaneously! To enter, just give me a good post of your character signing up. Feel free to interact with others as you see fit! Remember to have fun! Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas from the RoT crew!~<3 Any questions, or concerns? Then please, shoot me a PM and we will discuss! ^^

For the first time since he had arrived on the planet, Ethar Luxun was happily walking down the main street of Central city, taking in the holiday sights. Normally, at this time of year he would be at his home in the mountains, enjoying the tomes he was studying, and other things that he used to do in the previous years.
He heard ringing in the distance, and followed the sound until he came across a gather crowd around what he read as 'Santa Clause', or 'Saint Nick'. Standing at the back, He heard the figure announce that a creature was terrorizing people in the north, and that it was extremely powerful AND there was a big reward for bringing it back alive. "Sounds like fun... Why not? Better then being cooped up all winter long." He thought to himself as he started to wedge his way through the crowd, but as he did so, he caught the attention of some people who started to call him by his 'Hero Name'.
As people parted, the talk of the 'Silver Saiyan' was brimming amongst the crowd as Ethar reached the front of them. Stepping forward, Ethar took the signup sheet, and signed his name to it and handed it back to the holiday figure. "Count me in. Everyone deserves a happy holiday! Any creature that tries to change that deserves a beatdown." He said, as the crowd erupted in a cheer for him. This made him feel a bit nervous, but he didnt much care what the crowd thought of his act of bravery, there were people in trouble, and it was in Ethar's nature to help them.

A few months had passed since the battle at Central City, or so it seemed with the changing of cold weather and snow. In the middle of Santa's big display a young woman with red hair and blue eyes stood next to his sleigh wearing a red and white, form fitting Santa Claus jacket and skirt with a barely three inch long, forked tail sticking out of the back. She had on a big black belt and matching red boots. In her hand, a tiny golden bell, which she rung as he made his announcements. Around her neck is a red stone pendant which stores all of her energy. She was short in stature so next to the giant rockets attached to the sleigh she looked like a mouse, even with her slightly elongated horns on her head and her heels.
Since the battle she was a part of this woman, named Rascal, had been forced by the city to do community service and had powerful yet lesser known fighters watching her every move. Rascal, of her own free will, was able to choose whatever she wanted to do in this regard and chose this bit of service for one purpose only. To meet Satan!
She was utterly convinced that Santa Claus was Satan and that the real Satan could be found within Santa by finding the right words or work ethic to summon him. Rascal though was always a bit of delusional fool, so this wasn't actually true. Santa was a force of good seriously looking for help, but she utterly believed he was evil and that perhaps this challenge was actually him summoning something evil of his own just to test her and all those fools had tried to stop her before.
Hopefully, none of them would recognize her. First off, Rascal had cut her hair really short it was now only down to her ears. Secondly, she had grown at least two inches or so she thought putting her at five feet, one inch tall. Or really under the height of her remembered Makaioten transformation. A form also known as her "Demon Queen" form. Yet this form was still vastly different then how she looked for currently she had snacked on way too many cookies on the job and a lot of the weight had gone straight to her stomach. She was much plumper then before now weighing in at 132 lbs, which made her torso seem much fuller then ever before. She wasn't about to tell anyone this, but she knew after the holidays she was going to need a serious workout since it was pretty clear that if anyone recognized her they would know she had pigged out on food stuffs. She was so busy with her job though she hardly recognized a familiar Saiyan over by the signup sheet.
"Satan," she asked looking towards the big belly man, "when are we going to capture your evil menace I'm bored ringing this bell." She had already signed up as part of her community service to catch the problem causing evil at any cost, however, she wasn't going to be happy if she got a partner she didn't want.
The plump girl started to take on more of cookies as she reached towards Santa's pockets. She could feel a strange aura about him though as she touched his coat pocket with her fingers. This caused her to skirt away in fear and continue her job. Somehow getting zeni again for food and world domination were her only goals now after what happened before. She had been in a major fight but been side lined as a minor villain after all that had happened, at least that's what she thought. She needed to get stronger to correct this before those other people came back to haunt her dreams. The green haired girl she had met was especially prudent within them. She could still feel her pinning her to the ground every time she slept.

It was a festive time of year on Earth, and with festivities came a few things Gælon most, interesting foods, happy people (sometimes), and booming business. Ever since his arrival on Earth, the dapper Dæmon has been positioning himself in the world of business as it afforded him many fine things to sample, interesting people to meet and comfortable living conditions. With his natural ability to charm it seemed only a given that he'd end up as the head of his own company. Amidst the tall, modern looking buildings of Central City, there stood one that was just a little taller, just a little more modern. It's sleek, black mirrors exterior appeared imposing, monolithic even to passersby, but this intimidating building was anything but now that Christmas had rolled around. Seeing an opportunity to Andronazi Enterprises on the map, in the eye of the public anyway, the ultra modern building had undergone a speedy renovation and now sported it's own three level department store as well as a strip of LED lighting that ran the length of ever facet of the building. The lights changed color every minute, cycling between red, green, white, blue and then gold, giving the otherwise imposing features of the structure a festive outline.
It was no surprise then that when Gælon heard of this strange visitation in the opposite end of the park from his building, the Dæmon was intrigued. A being professing to be the mythical Saint Nick, riding a rocket powered sled, ostensibly branded with the logo of one of his competing companies? Pure silliness, someone in the secretarial poll was obviously getting a head start on the eggnog for the company Christmas Party. Still it was lunch time and the Incubus was curious by nature, so donning a fashionable black long-coat over his impeccable black suit and setting atop his head an equally fashionable hat, Gælon took his private elevator down to the lobby and started out across the park, the south end of which was dominated by the looming black edifice. As he walked, the cheerful chirpings of children to their parents all told him the same story, there was indeed someone in the park, with a rocket powered sled. This bared further investigation.
Picking his way along the fastest paths, the immaculately dressed business man arrived on the wholly unreal scene and couldn't help but smile. It was true, there was indeed a jolly old fat man, in a red suit, with a rocket powered sled. "Interesting." the Dæmon commented to himself and walked closer. Stopping a bit closer, the black suited man was starting to receive his own portion of the attention as he listened to the words from this Santa. Since the opening of his company's toy department, traveling in public had become an interesting experience, people knew his face now, which didn't bother the Incubus in the slightest, it made dining all the more easy when meals came to him. But right now there seemed to be something much more interesting then food on the hoof, an opportunity was ringing in the air, and not just the loud bell threatening to drown out the fat man's voice. No, from what Gælon heard, this Santa's factory or something along those lines, was under siege. Whether this was a publicity stunt or not from Capsule Corp., it rang of opportunity. Were he to engage in this farce and it turned out to be just that or not, there would be no harm done, simply some good natured holiday fun undertaking by two rival companies, putting aside that rivalry for the holidays. However, should this fantastic story be true, then one couldn't even begin to imagine the boon Gælon's company would receive when word spread of the President of Andronazi Enterprises himself having taken part in this charitable mission. This bared further investigation.
Taking out his cellular telephone, Gælon hit the button to speed dial his secretary and spoke quickly, instructing the man to send out a camera floater to the north end of the park as quickly as he could. As if there weren't already new people on hand, the camera drone arrived amidst other such robots and started filming the proceedings. Gælon himself spent the time until the drone's arrival taking a few pictures with families and answering some question from the press, mostly building up to his signing the presented document. when time to do so came, he used his own pen, a solid gold fountain pen which used dark, red ink instead of the usual blue or black. And upon signing his name, making sure to leave enough room for his company logo, Gælon drew it in, first circling his name and then inscribing over it a large "Ӕ" for Andronazi Enterprises. Now formally entered into the book, Gælon put his pen away and waved to the crowd before giving this Santa a nod and then stepping towards the waiting sled. As he did so though he couldn't help but notice the presence of the young lady ringing that loud bell. There was a presence there, beyond the physical, it had been some time since he'd felt it, but it was unmistakable. "Interesting." he once again said to himself. "And here I thought I was alone on this planet." This bared further investigation.

”So, this is what the humans refer to as Christmas, is it?” Xero asked as he strode through the brightly decorated park. It was the first time the man had ever experienced such a thing- even the weather was different to him; holding a super pale-white hand out to the sky he caught a snowflake, and pulled it to his cyan eyes to study it. Unlike when connected with a warm-blooded human, this flake would not melt against his hard-metallic skin.
One might note when the man exhaled there would be no cloud of vapor escaping his lips. The second, more obvious thing that stood out about him was the way he dressed. A black shirt, with a yellow crescent moon and circle, which had the sleeves ripped off to show off his chiseled arms, and tucked in to his baggy brown pants. A black belt and black boots complimented the get-up fairly well; however there was no denying that the star of his outfit was the perfectly fitted top hat with the bright yellow band. Of course, there were other features of him that might stand out: the metallic-cyan mark under his eyes, the matching metallic fingernails.
”From the information we have gathered we would say that is accurate. It seems that these humans created a holiday revolving around a savoir at first, but now it has become clouded with materialistic wants, and capitalism,” Hellbringer, the second voice deep within Xero chimed in.
”Hmph,” the man huffed, he was not interested in learning the confusing culture that the Terran-populous cherished. No, his goals were simple- the only reason he’d even come to this disgusting, backwards planet was for information on the disappearance of his family, ”Seems pretty stupid to me…”
”You are too quick to judge, Young Hellbringer. You know nothing of worldly values and cultures. You know nothing of these people. Perhaps you should-“
”Shut up,” Xero interrupted his internal partner, raising a hand to his ear, ”What the hell is that annoying noise?” Focusing his attention towards the ringing of the bell, his eyes widened, ”It seems to be coming from up ahead. And there are a few pretty high energy signatures there as well…” the Hellbringer clarified.
That was enough to pique the alien’s interest. Venturing forwards through the maze of shoppers, children, adults, and decorations, the silver-haired man would finally make his way to a stage. There, a man in red and a sleigh sat; a small girl was ringing a bell, and a second, slim, well-dressed man was there as well. Catching the man take a seat at the sleigh, Xero cocked his head to the side and approached, ”The man in red seems to be a man the Terrans refer to as Saint Nicolas, bringer of Christmas. The vessel next to him seems to be his ship- the transport he uses to carry out his joyful duties…”
Stepping onto the stage, Xero placed a hand on the sleigh. As close as Gaelon was, he might catch glimpse of something looking a lot like a binary matrix appearing momentary around Xero’s hand. Suddenly the sleigh would spring to life, the rockets roaring bright flames out the back, but not taking off. With a smirk, Xero pulled his hand away from the sleigh, taking all life from the machine, and adjusted his top hat, ”How droll..” he huffed, ”If this is considered advanced, I feel sorry for these creatures…” he stated out loud, obviously unconcerned with who might hear him.
Turning his attention to the man in red who once more spouted something about a quest, the Hellbringer inside him pushed forwards, ”A team activity: it seems like a good way to go about gaining some trust. Sign up for it.”
Xero sighed, taking up a pen and pressing it to the sign up sheet, ”You’re not gonna let up unless I do, huh?” he asked himself rhetorically, then with a second sigh made a dark mark on the paper- of course the alien man knew very little of the written Terran language, but he was familiar with his own mark: A crescent moon with a circle in the opening- the same one, in fact that was plastered on his shirt.
Turning back to the sleigh he jumped up inside it once more- again, his hand upon the machine causing it to spring to life once more- the same, light-cyan binary matrix appearing with the first touch of his hand. It seemed that the Terran technology was much more responsive than he’d anticipated. He’d have to figure out a way to prevent this later. Crossing his arms, he’d slouch back into the seat- propping his feet up comfortably onto the front railing; paying very little attention to the famous Gaelon whom he was now sitting beside, "Wake me up when we're ready to leave," he said out loud, telling the second being in his body; however, the incubus might think it was he that Xero was speaking to.

Stupid shopping.
Stupid cold.
Stupid shirt. *Scratch scratch.*
Stupid Snow…
Ethan wasn’t the happiest camper as he was led from store to store in the freezing snow, and worst of all, forced into wearing winter weather clothing. True, he was no stranger to winter weather, having grown up in the mountains in the family compound, but the city was different, he couldn’t walk around shirtless in a department store, especially since he’d be recognized even faster dressed like that then if he wore his old presidential suit. So to avoid being recognized as best he could, the blue haired teen was dressed in long, black track pants, boots, a blue winter coat with of course no shirt underneath, and in an effort to hide his distinctive blue hair as much as possible, red and white Santa hat. Unfortunately there was little he could do to hide his blue eyebrows but what was he really going to do, wear a mask?
“Ohkara, are we done yet?” the teen whined as they made their way from the Andronazi department store and headed north through the park towards yet another shopping center, gift boxes piled in his arms four high. “We’ve been to like… five stores… do we even know this many people?” Ethan went on, he was after all in many respects, still a kid. His shopping companion didn’t even get a chance to respond before Ethan found a distraction, the shiny sleigh, the ringing bell and the jolly old fat man instantly drawing the boy in. With inhuman agility the teen darted through the gathering crowd, somehow managing to keep the boxes he was carrying intact as he reached the center of the scene. By the time Ohkara might catch up, Ethan was excited to finally have some proper winter fun and showed it.
“Oooo! Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! We can help!” Ethan called out, balancing his packages in one arm and reaching with his now free hand to tug Ohkara up front with him.

Ohkara squeezed Ethan’s hand tightly, pulling him close as they ran from shop to shop, making crazy purchases for gifts. Of course, the young woman could see the disinterest in the blue-haired surfer boy, but it didn’t seem to harsh her mood in the slightest; instead she was cheerier than ever, just glad the boy had agreed to go with her- whether or not she really had given him much choice. As they ran through the malls, Ethan carrying a large amount of boxes, Ohkara’s free arm decorated with brightly-colored gift bags, the bickered back and forth.
”Of course we do, Ethan!” she told him, ”We’re almost done anyways! There are just a couple more stops I want to make before-“ the sound of a bell ringing throughout the park cut through her words, then the boy’s sudden burst of excitement as he rushed through the crowd, effectively pulling the girl behind him. Luckily for him, she too was graceful and able to maneuver through the gathering without dropping anything.
She too was dressed in heavy winter clothes: a bright cyan, down snow coat, thick black pants and, of course, her boots. On her head sat a beanie-hat, yellow and cyan with two hanging green poof-balls at either side. Complete with a matching scarf, it would be hard to tell it was indeed Ohkara under all the snow gear, and as such she was sure she’d go unnoticed.
As Ethan pulled her onto the stage near a bright-red rocket-sled, she cocked her head to the side, yellow eyes scanning; there were some familiar faces, Ohkara knowing most of the people that were signing up for the event. Gaelon, a man that she’d met only once- they shared a few drinks; she was oddly attracted to him, but she didn’t know why. Rascal, the demoness that had caused trouble in Central City a few months ago. And last, but not least Ethar; the Noran drama-king. Of course, there were no harsh feelings towards the ladder, even after their last, not-so-pleasant meeting.
As Ethan signed his name on the sheet, Ohkara spotted one more face- this one foreign, a man with a black top-hat, and ridiculously weather-inappropriate clothing. Giving a light shrug she turned her attention back to Ethan, and snatched the pen from his hand when he finished, jotting her name under his, ”Fine. I guess our shopping can wait… But that doesn’t mean you’re getting out of finishing with me!” she exclaimed, giving the boy a playful elbow to his side.

Celeh was mildly concerned. There was a small cluster of larger powers gathered in one place in Central City. She had hoped that the place would be safe after their battle a while back, but it seemed something else had drawn her allies and a couple of others into the scene...but what could it be? Wanting to explore and find out for herself, Celeh had donned her cloak and armor and headed into the heart of the city where everyone had gathered. What she found when she arrived was...not at all what she expected. There was no battle taking place, no tense situation on the verge of combat...instead it was a rather jolly, merry fellow with a bell petitioning strong warriors for the sake of defeating some monster. Celeh couldn't imagine what kind of game he was playing at, or what kind of monster might force the Earthlings to request help from powerful fighters, but she wasn't the sort to turn down a chance to battle and improve. The saiyan soldier quietly walked over to his sign up sheet and scribbled the galactic standard form of her name on the paper. She then turned and started to walk off. It wasn't that she didn't want to associate with Ethan and Ohkara...it was more that she didn't want her presence to disrupt the peace were her heritage to be discovered. Stigma against saiyans was still commonplace, after all. The saiyan did shoot a glance over towards Ohkara and Ethan when they approached the sign up.

Gælon not being one to follow crowds, looked around at the others that appeared to be joining this troupe. Of them, two had already seated themselves on the rocket sled and by the looks of things, that was what was expected. However, being a highly visible member of the community, Gælon could just be seen to sit idle as this Santa finished his recruiting. And quite the recruiting drive it was turning out to be, already the Incubus recognized several faces, some who wanted to go unrecognized and others who did not, and among them, two he’d met in person. One was a quirky gentleman who did not respond well to his advances, and the other, a green haired lass who he’d enjoyed a few drinks with upon his first arrival on the planet. Things however did not get a chance to progress as Gælon’s time had be greatly consumed by his growing business empire. He would have to see what the young lady had been up to.
With so many well known and powerful combatants showing up, the Incubus could only assume that the sled would soon be filled with all of those this Santa would require to battle his as yet, unnamed adversary. Reasoning this, Gælon too seated himself, giving the crowd on last wave. Once he had, an interesting looking young man seemed to address him, asking to be awoken once they were ready to depart. Seeing as seating was about to rapidly fill up, he saw no reason for the strangely dressed man to be dozing. Gælon was about to say just that when his full attention became focused on the young man. His features, although on the surface appeared to be human enough, hinted at other-worldly origins, or perhaps technological ones. While there were many on Earth with interesting cosmetic choices or even relatively new genetic offshoots, these unique qualities were rarely more interesting then blue or green hair. This young man though had silver, actual metallic silver strands of hair, most interesting. His build was right up the Incubus’ proverbial alley, tall, thin, toned, but before the incubus could finish assessing the young man, his keen senses detected a strangeness about him that only further intrigued Gælon. The quality was bifurcated, as if there was someone else standing close by and he was sensing both of them at once. This bared further investigation.
“Then I would suggest that you not go to sleep at all my handsome friend.” Gælon replied smoothly, straitening his tie and looking the young man over again, making no secret that his gaze paused on his exposed arms. “It looks as though our host is about to fill up on volunteers.”

When one thinks of the warm, fuzzy feelings you get during the holidays and all the pleasant cheer that goes with them, it's likely that you don't think of an armor clad alien canine warrior. Zheig had his helmet on and the face shield down. It wasn't out of want or need to disguise himself. He knew there were canine humanoids on this planet much like himself already, so no one would be surprised to see him without his helmet on. He just felt more comfortable with it on. His armor was a symbol of his position and his way of life.
Still, it should come as a surprise to no one when the warrior clad in knight's armor with a very large sword strapped to his back came to sign up for this little party that was graciously being hosted by a figure that any normal Earthling would believe to be a myth. Zheig's writing on the sign in sheet likely stood out from everyone else's because he was taught to write by scribes at the temple, and so his writing was so smooth, crisp, and perfect that it probably looked unnatural. Still, he went over to a nearby bench and sat down. The cold didn't seem to bother him much, even with all that metal on. The wolf glanced around at the various others that had gathered here and seemed pleased with the turnout himself. Quite a plethora of fighters, some even more powerful than himself, had shown up. Surely this creature that was to be feared couldn't stand up to all of them...

Opening a curious eye as the man beside him spoke; he caught the intriguing look in the man’s eyes as he returned his gaze, “Handsome friend?” he echoed with a tone of intrigue himself; never before had he been referred to as either of those words- of course he knew what the latter was, but the first was new to him.
”Handsome; an adjective- used in this sense it means this man finds you attractive. It is a compliment.” Hellbringer chimed in; somehow its’ worldly knowledge was unsettling. The fact it knew so much about the Terrans, and their culture, and their language was even more curious than Xero would let on.
Casting an obvious eye up and down Gaelon himself, Xero gave a small huff, ”Do I interest you?” he asked plainly, raising a silver brow, his hand gentle raising to run a few fingers through his goatee. The question brought on by the simple fact that he’d never been complimented in such a way since his arrival on this foreign planet.
”That is Gaelon Andronazi; a very wealthy business man. He has connections- he is obviously attracted to you, regardless of how much or little. We suggest you use this to your advantage. Compliment him back.” his internal weapon told him, causing a slight look of uncertainty to wash over his face for only a moment. The concept of flirting was new to the young Hellbringer, but his weapon was correct- this was a good opportunity.
”I’m sorry about the bluntness, but it’s not every day a man as successful as you are speaks to a lowly commoner like myself…” he chirped back- his response seemingly genuine, ”Let alone someone as attractive as the great Gaelon Andronazi himself…” Though he feigned knowledge of the man beside him, in reality he only had what the weapon inside him told him to go by. Hopefully he could make do with it…

Seeing that so many people had stepped forward, Ethar was quite happy that so many people wanted to protect the people up north. New and old faces were all around him, ready to go help the people in the north. Spotting Celeh, Ohkara and Ethan, Ethar smiled and waved to them. "Hey Hey. Im happy to see that your all also signing up for this thing... " He said, approching Ethan and Ohkara, but he stopped when he saw Ethan carrying so many packages.
"Uh... Thats alot of packages. Heh. Doing Christmas shopping today?" He asked him, as his gaze turned to Celeh. "A pleasure to see you again Celeh. I trust you are well?" He asked her. His gaze then wandering over to the other unknown volunteers. He brielfy knew Gaelon, but the others...Xero and Zhieg, were all new to him, and he could sense a powerful energy coming from them as well.
"Friends of yours?" He asked his friends, a bit curious as to who the other people were.

”Alright, warriors! Let’s head off!” St. Nicolas exclaimed when the last of the fighters arrived. Motioning for his sleigh, he’d jump on and wait as everyone took their seat, then hastily rocket off into the snowy sky, headed north for their destination.
The trip wouldn’t take long- of course the bright-red rocket-sleigh could soar at speeds much faster than even the highest level fighters could. Rocketing across the sky, the ride was indeed Christmas-y, the snow covered mountains and trees, and frozen bodies of water they passed over like something from a scene in a movie. Eventually the sleigh would set down at the foot of a large, thick forest. A few hundred kilometers to the East was a small, festively lit village- thankfully for the populous of said village the fighters were likely far enough away to avoid it suffering any damage from whatever they were about to face. St. Nick hopped down from his seat in the sleigh, and pulled out his clipboard, ”The turnout is incredible. Firstly, the village to the East and myself thank you all for your help,” running a finger down the sign-up sheet he read the names as listed- even those that signed with marks, or in different languages were easy for the mystical St. Nicolas to decipher, ”To cover more ground, I find it logical that we split you all into two teams. Alpha team will be as follows:” tapping a finger respectively as he went down the list, ”Ohkara, Rascal, Zheig, and Ethan.” Turning to the other four he smiled and nodded, ”Well, it goes without saying, but Bravo Team will be Ethar, Celeh, Gaelon, and Xero.” Tapping a finger against his beard-hidden chin, St. Nick let out a throaty chuckle, ”As for what you will be searching for: we are looking for an imposter; someone posing to be yours truly. It is believed that this being is of alien decent. Unfortunately, like I said before not much is known about him… It’s advised you use caution when approaching him- but it’s also unknown if he has been acting alone…”
“You are to bring him back alive, as he is in possession of something very valuable to me.” pointing to the empty “trunk” of his sleigh, he gave a light sigh, ”as some of you may have noticed my magical sack of toys is missing. Without it the populous of this planet will not be able to enjoy Christmas. However, be weary, as when in the wrong hands my sack can be used as a very powerful tool, or even a weapon… Return this impostor to me, along with my sack and you will be greatly rewarded, and revered as heroes by the residents of the Eastern Village.”
“Now,” St. Nick said, making sure to match the gaze of each warrior, ”If there are any questions, speak now.” he told them, then would motion to either side after these questions were finally addressed, ”Half to the right, half to the left. I wish you all the best and good luck.”
Groups will be separated into two threads; which will be plainly marked, and posted here. Posting order in these said threads will follow whatever order you jump in; so please, keep this in mind. These threads will play out simultaneously, but separately. Remember, death is not a threat in these threads, so lets make sure we have fun with it! OH YEAH! Everyone is welcome another round of posting before we kick these things off, so please post accordingly to your character's arrival in the forest.
