Appearance
Odonians share many similarities with the animal hybrid species from Earth. They have a wide array of species in their ranks, from canine to avian to feline to reptilian to icthine, and more. The many species of planet Odon have all intermingled and created a diverse melting pot of animalistic bipedal humanoids with different skin, scale, fur, eye, and hair colors, although these colors are generally more natural than not. Overall their appearance is quite varied from individual to individual based on their species and region of origin.
Personalities
Odonians are a proud people, but they are not lacking in humility and compassion. They take pride in the blood that flows through their veins because they are taught from an early age that the strength of the individual is drawn from the strength of their family, and their Odonian blood is the conduit. In forming such strong bonds with their family, and through the teachings of their elders, they learn compassion for their brethren, respect for their elders, and humility so that they do not overstep their bounds.
Racial Traits
Family Heirloom - All Odonians can trace their lineage back to one, or sometimes two of the noble families that have ruled over Odon since long before their recorded history. Among these families, their are artifacts or weapons of great power that are passed down through the generations, each item or the family's elder making the choice of who is worthy to wield it. These items contain small glimpses of power from every past generation that has wielded them, and they bestow great power on those who share the same blood as the ones who have held them in the past. This special item is bound to the character in every way, and functions as if it were a little extension of themselves. If broken, their essence can repair the item, and if taken from the character they will feel as if they have lost part of themselves in much the same manner as if they had lost an arm or a leg. The ability bestowed upon them by their weapon is generally some form of elemental manipulation, latent psychic abilities, natural healing capabilities, etc.(The ability in question will be discussed at the time of character creation.) The artifact can be called to the wielder at any time, and it travels in an instant to their location from any location, regardless of obstacles or barriers. The object effectively teleports in this manner, although when held by another person of greater strength than the wielder, the artifact will be unable to answer their call. The durability and power of the object is draw directly from the wielder, so breaking it requires the same effort as would be needed to break the wielder's arm or leg.
Fast Learner - Odonians have been well known for their ability to adapt and overcome, especially with the variety of species that exist within their gene pool. Because of this, the average Odonian can learn new techniques and skills more easily than most.
Choose one of the following in addition to the above that is related to your specific species of Odonian.
Thick Hide - Some Odonians have a thick hide that gives them greater ability to withstand damage than any of the other races.
Strong Tail - Some Odonians are born with strong, thick, prehensile tails that act as an additional appendage in battle.
Sensitive Hearing - Some Odonians have powerful hearing, both a blessing and a curse as they are more vulnerable than most to sonic based attacks.

Transformations
- Blood of the Wild(x3) - All Odonians house within themselves a power as old as the planet they live on, and for a brief amount of time they can all tap into it by instinct when the situation gets to be too much for them to handle otherwise.(Requires trigger)
- Primal Awakening(x12) - The efforts to improve themselves and to strengthen the bond with their heirloom have finally pushed the Odonian beyond the precipice of their previous ability, allowing them to reach new heights. The strength of their heirloom's ability grows to a whole new level and their aura erupts with greater force.
- Primal Mastery(x19) - Furthering their training and pushing to understand the power that links them and their heirloom, the Odonian eventually obtains full mastery over the power granted to them by their blood, and much like the previous form, their powers and aura grow even more intense. AT this level, however, their energy will be altered slightly, taking on properties similar to that of the ability granted to them by their heirloom. Their muscle mass will increase slightly as their body brims with new strength, durability, and speed.
- Ascendant Soul(x27) - The strength of the individual, the creme of the crop, finally rises to the top. This form sets the Odonian aside from even the most exceptional members of their kind, and makes them stand out among the warriors of generations past. Their heirloom begins to change, become even more personalized and unique to them. The artifact itself can even meld with the wielder at this level of ability. Their strength has gone above and beyond what is known of their kind even in legend.
- Heart of Eons(x33) - A form unheard of even in myth and legend, and a power greater than an Odonian that has ascended to a the level of a legend, tapping into the power of creation that formed their planet eons ago, their race's full abilities are unlocked. The wielder takes on a form that is as much physical as it is energy. Their aura is now entirely replaced by the power granted to them by their heirloom. Their heirloom retains the specialized form from the previous transformation, and their muscle mass increases a little further from previous levels of ability.
