Xero, The Hellbringer
Xero
Nickname: Title:
The Hellbringer
Gender:
Male
Race:
Mekkan
(Custom Race)
Age:
150
Racial Traits:
Ki Stealth -
Due to their inorganic nature, Mekkan do not generate ki in the same way other races do and as such their power level cannot be read or sensed by anything other than a scouter.
Lethal Magician –
Mekkans are made of organic metals which allow them to bond with their equipment. As such, a Mekkan can choose a single Defensive, or offensive tool, and bond with it; allowing them to call it forward at any time. (Think of this like a very specific “Item materialization tech”. Sacrificing the ability to summon any items, the user can call their chosen item at a moments’ notice; using a simple hand signal [ie. A flick of the wrist, a snap of a finger, etc.].)
(CAN be used in mid-combat; however techs cannot be used in the same post the weapon is activated, unless coupled with a technique that is specially marked with “Hellbringer*”. A Mekkan starts with three techs, as well as one of these.)
Solid build –
being made of an organic metal gives a Mekkan an advantage by increasing the density of their bones, making them heavier, and creating a hardy shield on their skin to protect their inner organs and circuitry; as such a Mekka can withstand a heavier amount of damage than most races, but when their stamina drops, so does there defense.
Techniques

Hellbringer*.
Starting Technique.
Wielding Hellbringer, Xero’s charges the blade up with ki, quickly firing off directional crescent slashes of static ki. These slashes of ki are intended to cut instead of explode. Three slashes maximum per post. 2 post cool down.

Using their natural ki sensing abilities, The user is able to tell different power signatures apart and recognize those he/she has met before by their signature. He/she is also able to sense someone’s exact power-level, or at least the level they've suppressed it to.

(aka Zanzoken)

Description:
As seen in picture, drawn for me. I will be adding my own renderings at a later time.
Contrary to his weight, Xero is fit, toned, and fairly lanky; long legs and arms giving him reach over many in the battlefield. In terms of complexion it varies to his planetary environment; on his home Planet Mekka, Xero’s skin is tinted with a silver sheen, making it look metallic. On Earth, Xero’s skin is a basic fleshly-pale; however can actually tan depending on where he is.
The only thing appearing very alien on him at all is a metallic cyan marking under his left eye in the shape of an edged “7”. This marking is not the same fleshy texture as regular skin, instead is it hardened and smooth, one of only a few signs of his foreign decent- the others his finger and toe nails, down his spine, and on his chest.
As for choice of clothing, Xero normally wears very casual clothing. A part of comfortably baggy jeans, and plain-brown boots, all tied together with a brown and black belt around his waist. His shirt is normally sleeveless, his favorite, one with ripped sleeves and a yellow crescent with a circle in the opening. To top it all off, on his head normally resides and black top hat with a bright yellow band, one that is properly fitted to his head.

History
One hundred fifty years ago Xero was born on planet Mekka. Mekka was a metropolis, a wonderland of organic metals. The life and plants all products of living, breathing metal. However, amongst the foreign oddities were also similarities to Earth. Very technologically driven, the Mekkans moved past the state of warring, or disease. They were a truly peaceful planet for many years.
Xero grew up with a fairly normal life; his childhood was all about honing his skills. As a Mekkan, it was very important that the children were in their prime when they entered their older years. They were thought that as such unique beings, it was important they become one with their bodies. And as there are in many cultures, they had customs and traditions to follow. Xero spent a lot of time training his body and homing his skills; he was a very driven child, ready to prove he could be in a different league than his peers.
As a boy, Xero loved his peoples legends, and their keen abilities to easily preform sleight of hand illusions; something that, after much practice, the young boy mastered. His favorite legend was of a powerful Mekkan dubbed the Hellbringer. Before the Mekkans had their technological boom, thousands of years prior to Xero’s existence, there was a great war. The Mekkans were a race of warriors, led to protect their planet which was often attacked for it plentiful resources.
A few of the ancient Mekkans were even more so adept than the rest; bonding with their weapons, using them like true extensions of their body, and using illusion to trick their opponents. The greatest of them all was the Hellbringer; the unique ax-wielding Mekkan that never lost a battle. It was said he died at the ripe age of 1000, but no one really knew if this was true or not. The Hellbringer and his stories of triumphs in battle after battle are what drove Xero to train hardest. Hellbringer was the smartest, keenest, fastest, and strongest of all the Mekkan. He was the ideal man in a society that pressed the idea of staying balanced, of being one with themselves. Xero wanted to be the Hellbringer.
Entering his young adulthood, Xero was positioned on a planetary outpost. There he was to gather research for a project they were undergoing back on Mekka. The planet was populated, but not to the extent of advanced life- and definitely no competition in the technology department. His stay was supposed to be a short one of ten years, just a few years in the planet was hit with a freak electrical storm that wiped out Xero’s ship.
Stuck on the planet for 60 years, Xero toiled endlessly to completely rebuild the ship from basically nothing. Keeping his training regiments, Xero was able to master the old art of bonding with metals and technology, making things go more smoothly as time went on. Finally, after being stranded alone (in terms of intelligent life) he was ready to go home.
The flight went as smoothly as expected for riding in a rebuilt ship, and the trip took a whole ten years to complete; however, when he reached the planet Mekka, things were not as they had been. Attacked, by something powerful, the population had been whipped out, the resources had all been collected, and it had been flattened to nothing on the surface. Xero was crushed by the realization his people were gone; that his loved ones and family had been murdered. However, after much thought, He decided that was an unlikely case.
Pushing himself past his limits, Xero trained every day for another ten years, honing his skills, practicing his unique style. Even in times of rest, Xero pushed himself, searching the planet for anything useful, or any survivors, and even surprisingly teaching himself to fly.
On the last day of his ten year training session, Xero was finishing up for the day when something felt like it struck him in the back of the head. Not something of material nature, but something like an extra sense. Something that felt both very foreign and very familiar at the same time. Something that told him to head somewhere specific. Doing so, Xero would discover an underground bunker. Inside, only after overcoming a few trials, Xero found himself standing in front of a totem.
Towering above him was a stone rendering of his hero, the Hellbringer; and in his hands, outstretched towards Xero was his mighty ax. The young man could feel something calling his name. Looking around the room, he spotted no one; that was when the realization struck him: the sound was coming from the weapon!
His hand wrapped around the hilt, and he could feel something strange, something he’d never felt when bonding with anything else. For the first time in Xero’s life he felt as if he was complete. “We are the Hellbringer. We are one,” the newfound power told him, “We will find our people.”
“But how?” Xero asked in dismay.
“We take our leave. Head for a planet called… Earth…”
And upon arrival on Earth is where his journey starts…
