"Bam!" "Bam!" "Bam!"
A young man with blue hair heard this sound whilst laying in his king size bed with a red-checkered blanket and red sheets. He bolted up from his sleep and sat there blinking his matching blue eyes.
He looked around and found himself gazing at a painted white door then all the clothes lying around in front of it and his bedroom.
"Bam!" "Bam!" "Bam!" "This is your mother Ish!" a rowdy, feminine voice cried from outside his room. "Don't make me kick down the door!"
He croaked in response, "I just-I just got up..." He blink again and rolled out of bed pulling his sheets with him so they hung over the side of his bed's cherry oak frame. Then he walked to the door, grabbed the bronze handle and opened it.
"I see you're definite not ready." His mother stated as she flicked back a blue ponytail she was wearing and blocked the door with her short, lithe figure. Her gray eyes rolled then she suddenly reached out and grabbed him with a clawed hand by the chin. "GET THE HELL READY!!!" He could see his mother was already dressed in a brown petticoat and a matching skirt with a white blouse underneath it and white high-heels.
Ish felt her pink nails dig into his chin and groaned as she released him and left a set of imprints on it. "Mom... You just ruined my..."
"Face, huh? Well, next time you sleep in remember its a weekday!" She twisted around and with that sauntered off shouting as she left, "Breakfast is not downstairs you'll have to buy that, oh, and make some friends at school! I'm tired of you coming home without any since you can't get over your father. You're lucky I put your backpack together for you. It's next to the front door."
Ish watched his mother head down an empty hallway of green paint before reaching a white door on the far end. She opened it and with that headed outside of the small building they occupied. Famish had his own bedroom at the back of the house and Lavish, his mother, had one off to the right side of the entrance. To the other side of said entrance was a small kitchen and entertainment room and behind that an open space for storing good. She was off to work so she did not go to any of these areas in their home. She worked as a small time clerk at an office in Central City. After the war, she realized nobody wanted clothing models so got the job so her son and her could survive on her home world Earth. It was hard for her to raise Ish though since Ish or Famish was a freaking Half Saiyan. That meant more food consumption, general laziness, and unexpected rage were bound to happen. Luckily, The two knew a little of Saiyan culture after she had been abducted but since the Saiyan Empire had surrendered with the death of Queen Akassa living on the moon, where they had previously, was not an option. So Ish knew when and how not to cause trouble.
Ish sighed then uttered, "Yeah, I'm real troubled about dad right now..."
He turned around and walked past a pine wood desk with a green and silver laptop on it that had a capsule corporation sticker on it before grabbing a white shirt and blue jeans from underneath the desk. He pulled off some red pajama bottoms he was wearing and a white undershirt and switched into the new clothes along with a pair of sneakers and socks sitting next to them. Once they were on he walked to the front door grabbed the bag she said was sitting there and then proceeded to run out the door after slamming and locking it behind him.
He began with a light jog as he ran by a yellow school bus stopping to pick up younger students on his street. But after it passed him he smiled and instantly took off at a speed that broke Olympic long running records. He crossed five blocks of hard concrete in six minutes but by the time he got there he found himself gasping for breath.
"Jeez, how did dad move this fast?" he thought as he keeled over and watched his skin pale due to the lack of oxygen in his lungs. "I almost feel like I-I need a nurse." He had trained on the moon a couple years ago as a small child and because of this found himself still unaccustomed to a real planet's oxygen levels.
He stood up and stumbled forward heading into the school not knowing that today his life would forever be changed... He had recovered some yet with the potential threats coming into his life very soon he was going to need all the strength he could get. This morning, however, Ish was a normal student.
