Wait a minute... What are you again? (Closed/Noir)

[Ohkara Minamaru]

It was a fair day in Metropolis Island. The sun was shining brightly over the city, the clouds in the air were perfectly white a fluffy, and there was just enough breeze to push them along to provide inconsistent sun cover and cool it down. The town was as busy as usual, the hustle and bustle of civilians, street merchants, and hover-traffic enough to keep out any hopes for silence, but still carrying a calming sense of peace.


To Ohkara, this was the prefect recipe for a wonderful shopping trip. Bouncing through the busy city sidewalks, the young woman made her way to each shop window and peered in, taking her time to closely inspect the goods displayed. There was no doubt she was in a good mood, as it was very openly displayed; taking a moment to admire her reflection, she patted down her sleeveless, yellow gi, adjusted her cyan training weights, and then turned her attention to her forest green hair. Giving the cyan scrunchy a tug, she removed it, letting her lushious locks fall freely against her shoulders. Slipping the scrunchy around her wrist, she turned her attention back down the sidewalk.

"You know what?" she outwardly asked herself, "I think it's time for a haircut!~" with a giggle, she started onwards, heading towards her favorite salon a few blocks away.

There seems to be a gathering of people not to far from Ohkaru. There seems to be a large bustle around a single point. The curious chattering’s of the people echoing through the streets. At the centre of this crowd standing out like a sore thumb is Noir. Despite the large amount of attention acting like she is some rare and exotic creature Noir seems content lavishing in the attention given to her especially as she had done nothing to instigate it. “Oh my such a lavish welcome to one such as me I swear you’ll make me blush.” Noir has a big smile on her face, her large eyes shining as she hears a variety of compliments “Oh you flatter me so here please do allow to repay your kindness” She smirks as she slowly begins to sway her hips gracefully moving as if dancing to a rhythm unheard. Flourished with spins and pirouettes. Using her gummy physique to accentuate her movements a soft yet sultry rhythm to her dance. people are enthralled by the spectacle this young majin is created even people outside the crowd find themselves drawn into her action before she comes to a stop in a pose with her hand under he chin and her other hand outstretched with an open palm winking before gracefully bowing at her enthralled crowd.

Eyeing over the crowd she feels power in the distance more so than she had felt before and it makes her shiver a little an excited grin on her face “mmm I can taste it in the air there is someone here who is strong” She looks around noticing Ohkaru immediately noticing her as the one she sensed, her eyes become catlike as they lock onto their target. She slowly walks through the crowd running her hand along the cheeks of a few random people as she does slowly approaching Ohkaru a curious look on her face “Oh my I never expected to find something so interesting so soon" She slowly approaches Ohkaru a bright smile on her face and a light alluring air surrounding her as she stood face to face hand on her hip making no effort to hide the fact she was checking her out.

Only noticing the crowd when she approached it, Ohkara paid little attention to whatever was causing it. Though there was an energy signature nearby, it didn't seem hostile, at least not right now, and that was more than enough for the young woman to dismiss it. Continuing on with her browsing, she'd purchase a few more items, stuffing the capsules into her pockets and she moved from one place to the next.

It was when she turned the corner and was greeted by a woman that wandered out of the crowd like she was royalty that Ohkara took notice. Her brow rose instantly as she was addressed, and she looked a bit skeptical. She'd never seen anything like this woman before, and coupled with the crowd's behavior, it was throwing up red flags. Still, Ohkara was more than capable of handling the situation if it got out of hand.

Kicking out a hip, the green-haired girl rested a hand on it, twirling the other in the air, "Anything I can help you with there, miss?" she asked, a rather cheery tone followed up with a bright smile, "If you're lost, or something, I know my way around here pretty well. I'm sure I can help get you where you're going." she offered. Of course, she'd also notice the girls straight forward gaze, and return it herself, albiet Ohkara's was given with a bit more confusion.

Noir smiles brightly “Oh my strong and altruistic too” she circles her slightly very curiously “You’re very strong aren’t you? You’ve piqued my interest” she stops and steps back not trying to be seen as confrontational “May I ask your name? Mine is Noir” She tilts her head resting her cheek against her palm. “Hmm I could take you up on your offer but I don’t really have a destination, I’m a wanderer seeing the new and this place has given me plenty of things to find interesting” She giggles to herself “And one is the woman who stands in front of me”

She does a little spin seeing herself in a window and smiling she turns back to Ohkara “please don’t leave a girl waiting, its not often a person catches my eye so i want to learn more about them” She leans forward and Ohkara can see an almost childlike glint of intrigue behind the alluring air and sultry tones “of course I don’t ask you to do this for nothing I’d be more than willing to share with you what I can. She twiddles her “hair” between her fingers her eyes almost begging her to agree

"Well, I can definitely hold my own," she replied with a modest smile, watching as the interesting woman circled her, "Noir, huh?" she echoed, unable to hold back a giggle as the woman danced in front of her, "Well, Noir, this radiant woman that's caught your eye has a name..."

Quickly rolling her back, Ohkara leapt into the air in the most showboat-y of ways, and did a few spins and flips. Landing gracefully on the ground, she'd stretch her arms out wide like a gymnast, and smile widely, "And it's Ohkara Minamaru!"

With that, she'd give the woman a bow, "Also, I gotta say, I find you pretty interesting myself," she admitted, straightening her back and running a hand through her hair, "I mean, not to sound rude, or anything... But I can't say I've ever seen anyone that looks like you before... And I've seen a lot of weird people..." she nodded her head with the thought for a moment, then her eyes widened.

"Oh my god, what did I just say?!" she thought to herself, frantically waving her arms at her sides.

"No, uhm, not like that! I mean, I don't think you're weird looking or anything... You're actually gorgeous." she stammered, then let out a sigh, "I hope you know what I mean..."

[Noir]

Noir giggled and even gave a little clap at Ohkaras theatrics “Ah Okhara a fitting name, most lovely” She cant help but laugh at Okhara getting into a tizzy “Ah worry not I’m strange, I don’t think there are many like me around at least not that i've seen but i believe its what makes me stand out” Noir smirks a little as she offers her hand to Okhara she stands with an elegance and etiquette that seems to go against her appearance at least in regards to the clothes she is wearing.

Noir does feign a blush when Ohkaras calls her gorgeous as she puts her hands together in front of her chest slightly overexaggerating her reaction but there feels to be a genuine response. “Do you mean that?” Her big yellow eyes sparkling a little “Well thank you Ohkara. You are quiet beautiful yourself” she says with a spin ending up at her side a pleasantly sweet scent seemingly emanating from her now that she is up close.

Letting out a sigh of relief, she quickly wipes a brow with her hand, and nods her head, her dazzling yellow orbs sparkling right back at the woman, "Of course I meant it," she told her with a nod. Drawing a hand to her chest, she puffed it out, throwing a thumb at herself, and with a prideful smile, she added, "I'm not the kind of person who just says stuff to be nice!"

Lowering her posture, she turned her attention around to the city, then back to Noir, "So, I was just doin' some casual shopping. I mean, nothing *too* interesting... But if you want, you're welcome to join me!" she offered with a kind and warm smile, "Shopping is always better with company!~"

Noir responds with an equal brightness to her offer “But of course I’d be happy to join you. It lets me discover more about the city and your lovely self in one fell swoop so that’s a win win for me” She states with her toothy grin on full display She seems to be thinking to herself of all the possible things she could see given she was very unfamiliar of the city and strangely seemed unfamiliar with a lot of activities too.

She takes Ohkara’s hand in both of hers “Then please show me Ohkara lets see what this city has to offer” She has a bubbly enthusiasm and almost childlike eagerness a strange contrast to her more elegant and articulate manner she seemed to hold earlier. It appears while here curiosity is piqued so is her enthusiasm, her energy is quite infectious.

Ohkara can't help but giggle at Noir's reply, her cheeks touched with a light tint of pink, "Wonderful!" she exclaimed with a bright smile. "Honestly, this city is the best! There is great food, and awesome shops! Oh, and the parks are nice too!"

Entwining her fingers with the woman's, she began to pull her forward, continuing her path of window hopping from before, "Just a couple more places I wanna peek into before we leave this block," she told her. Stopping outside of an elegant dress store, Ohkara pressed her nose up against the window to admire the displays like a child.

The window showcased a few suits and some dresses, but the one that caught Ohkara's eye was black and yellow in stunning gothic lolita fashion, "Oh, I love this one!~" she told Noir as she pointed a finger at it, "Think I could pull something like that off?" she looked the woman over once and smiled, quickly pointing a finger to a white and pink one of similar design, "I bet you'd look amazing in that one!~"

Noir smile “Oh my this place does sound like it has it all doesn’t it so much more than out in the sticks” Noir looks around once more before Ohkara takes the lead to the shop with dresses. Staring in with an equal intrigue seemingly imagining herself in various sets of the outfits.

Noir forms a square with her thumb forefingers looking over Ohkara when she is asked if she would look good in the dress “I think it would look good on you especially if you have your hair down” Noir looks at the pink one looking at it with an obvious look of nostalgia on her face. “Hmm I think that would work, I wonder if I would own something like that some day. I mean I was told I looked good in stuff like that before” Noir angles her reflection so it lines up with the dress “ooh that is really nice, you’ve got good eyes Ohkara”

Ohkara tilted her head, looking the girl over curiously, "With my hair down, huh?" she asked. Turning her attention to her reflection in the window, she gently ptted at the bottom of her loose hair, "I honestly think it's getting a little too long..." she said, though her tone was somewhat conflicted, "I like to wear it up and it's too heavy like this.."

Turning back, admiring Noir's reflection, "Thanks! I like to dress up every now and again. Make the boys and girls turn their heads~" she chirped sweetly, then giggled, "But I don't think I need to tell you about that~"

Pulling Noir forward, she moved on down the road, "Oh, come on! Just up here! I think you're gonna like this place!~" she exclaimed, excitedly pushing onward with the woman's hand tight in her own.

[Noir]

“Hmm but do you need a dress to turn peoples heads? I’m sure just your eyes would be more than enough for that task I’m sure many people could get lost in them” Her voice and tone make it sound like she is teasing or flirting but there is a sense that she means that genuinely given her smile as she says it “Also I’m just a sucker for long hair especially in dresses like that long flowing hair a beautiful bespoke dress that will make the world notice I know it” Noir has her hands together held close to her chest a little twinkle in her eye as she says this.

Noir is immediately taken from this scene by Ohkara pulling her forwards not that she minded she seemed to really enjoy the energy Ohkara gave off someone she didn’t seem to worry about being overly vibrant with. “Ooh I will love it you say? Well you’ve been really on the money so far so lets see then you’ve got me all curious” She follows along keeping pace smiling and giggling as she does

Ohkara couldn't help but giggle at Noir's comment of her eyes, a light pink touching her cheeks, "Maybe I don't need a dress, but it's a nice change from the training gi," she admitted with a smile. "Nothing wrong with a little dress up, especially if the occasion is a special one~ In a world so serious all the time, it's important to remember to lighten up once in a while. Just dress yourself up for the hell of it, you know?~" she seemed rather enthusiastic about it, as if switching up her outfit was something that she enjoyed very much.

"But, that's not what today is about, so come on!" Pulling the Majin down the sidewalk a couple blocks, she stopped outside of a rather colorful shop, sat back in one of the strip malls lining the road. On the outside were tons of different merchandise for a rather colorful looking anime. And on the outside hung a huge banner that read: "Grand Opening".

Ohkara's eyes lit up as she inspected the wares, "I know you might not have guess this, but I'm super big into this kind of stuff~" she told her, then looked down a bit embarrassed. Other than the small few mentions to Ethar, she'd never invested in telling her friends about her secret obsession. "This is kinda why I'm here today," she told her, for the first time sounding a little nervous, "You... uh, you wanna go check it out?"

[Noir]

Noir giggles “I know that feeling, I have a Maid dress that was custom made for me back home, sometimes I like to just wear it and feel all pretty and dainty” She remarks casually “That and well” She gestures to herself “I kind of stand out for uh reasons” Noir finds herself pulled along her arm stretching a little as she is showing how squishy she is. The bright colours of the shop immediately catch Noirs eyes “ooooh whats that?”

She nods along to Ohkara’s comments about being into this stuff which has clearly caught her eye “looking at It I don’t blame you. What is this sort of stuff? I’ve never seen something this cool before.” Her eyes sparkle when she sees the various magical girl displays with their bright and elaborate poses “Of course I’d like to check it out I have no idea what this stuff is but it looks really cool and pretty” she says mimicing a pose from a magical girl on a poster

Ohkara couldn't help but giggle at Noir's sudden posing, and it only took a second for her to do the same, "Ooooooh~ You have a good eye!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. Quickly reaching behind Noir, she snatched the first volume of manga, the same one they stole the pose from, "Well, this is a manga~" she explained, pushing in close to Noir and opening it up, "It's a story that is told with both pictures and words. This one is one of my personal favorites: Champion Yukiki Yunini!~" turning back to the wall, she pointed out the series, "We're up to volume forty-nine with this one, but it's an epic read. These girls are granted special powers to slay these ancient chaotic spirts, but none of them know what they're getting themselves into!~" She handing the book off to Noir, she took a step back and smiled proudly, "I have the collection if you wanna check that out, though. Better you read it first before investing in buying it."


Turning around, she eyed the rest of the store, "Now, if reading isn't your thing, then that's completely okay too! There are also anime, which are animated manga, or a sort! Honestly, I'm a fan of both, but there are some people who consider themselves 'purests' out there," she shuddered comedically at the thought, then smiled, "Anyways, it just kind of depends on what you're into... Stories, movies, the interests you have. Whatever you like, there's gonna be something here for you to get excited about! I'm mainly here for the sale. I have most the 'new' stuff, but I'd love to get my hands on some of the older stuff- sometimes I think it doesn't get the credit it deserves, but I think that Luna-Marina was one of the best series out there, both in manga and anime! If I could just get a few more series from that era, I think I'd be set on reading material for a least a month, and if I can snag the anime too, then that's two months before I need something new!~"
