Mother and Daughter (Celeh/open)

[Celeh]

Celeh wanted to continue speaking to explain to Astra that she didn't care what the future held. She would face forward and take it head on. That's what she told herself, and that's what she planned to do. If she could follow through when the time came, though, was another matter. Still, she pushed the thought aside so she could focus on the battle at hand.

The soldier held up both hands and fired off a barrage of blasts of her own, but she only fired about half as many as her opponent. When her blasts collided with Astra's, the resulting blast would obscure her from view even if only for a moment. This would give Celeh the time she needed to dash to the left and send a couple more blasts at the girl from a hopeful unexpected angle.

There was a third shot inbound, too, but it was slightly delayed in firing. The third shot, however, was a Nova Bullet, and so it traveled nearly twice as fast as the other blasts. This shot wasn't aimed at Astra directly, but at the two blasts she'd already thrown at the girl. When it struck the backside of the blasts, it would burst and detonate the other two simultaneously to create a much more powerful forward facing cone of an explosion. It probably would not do much damage on its own if Astra failed to escape it, but it would certainly disorient her.

[Astra Luxun]

Astra wasnt all that surprised when her young mother-to-be countered her attack. Her eyes scanned the cloud of smoke and light to see signs of any movement, and she was lucky that she had some Noran blood in her to make her sense more keen then a regular Saiyans, as she saw Celeh out of the corner of her eye.

She saw Celeh launch two more blasts at her, followed by a third. She didnt recognize the attack until it was too late. The projectiles detonated, but Astra moved backwards using Zanzoken to avoid being disoriented, and dashed forward once the threat had dimished. She pushed herself through the smoke, directly charging at Celeh with her sword drawn.

Astra had a grin on her face as she actually seemed to unclasp her cape as she ran, and stopped at the last minute, using the momentum to send her cape at Celeh as a distraction, while Astra quickly leapt into the air for an Aerial attack from above! OF course, the blade would be aimed at Celehs side. She didnt want to wipe out her own existence, but if the diversion was successful, she would use that split second to land infront of Celeh, and smash into her with her shoulder.

Astra's attack with her sword would strike nothing but her own cape. The girl wasn't the only one that could perform the after image technique. The difference was that Celeh didn't make such a complicated movement with it. She dropped back onto all fours with her belly facing upward using the extreme speed of the technique to put her out of danger almost immediately. She had basic energy sensing, so she could 'see Astra even though the cape was in between them. As Astra came down to deliver that shoulder charge, Celeh thrust both legs up at her in a mule kick style. She pushed against the ground with both hands to provide maximum upward kicking force. If it all went according to her plan, Astra would be too baffled by the sudden after image to react before she came down on top of a brutal double leg kick.

Astra launched her attack, but it was too late for her to stop herself as her attack missed its marker, and she felt Celeh's feet collide with her, sending her flying backwards.

As it knocked the wind out of her, Astra came back down to Earth and fell on her butt. "Oof" She said as she landed. She quickly got her breath back and got back to her feet quickly before Celeh would be able to attack again. She quickly charged up energy blasts in her hands and started to throw them at Celeh. One hand was throwing the blasts directly at her, while the other hand was throwing blasts to her sides, hoping to cut off any route of escape.

Celeh was a master of distance combat. It was truly where she excelled the most. The fact that her supposed daughter was challenging her to a battle of blasts was laughable in her mind. Their power levels may have been similar, but their  experience levels and their training were not even close. The soldier  hopped back and forth from one foot to the other, dancing from side to side. She had one hand up and turned her body sideways to thin her silhouette to make her even harder to hit. As she hopped back and forth she would fire off swift, single shots from her palms that would be in direct counter to  a few select blasts that were coming at her directly. The blasts meant to cut off her escape routes completely missed and were wasted, while she only used  half the energy that Astra had just expended.  Shooting blasts out of the air was a skill she'd developed thoroughly. It was part of one of her strongest finishers, after all. She was still light on her feet even without flight, and it showed. "Come on. You think you can beat me at a distance? Don't be ridiculous. Ranged combat is where I thrive. If you want to beat me you're going to have to close the distance."

Astra grumbled as she stopped firing blasts at Celeh. Surprisingly, Astra didnt suddenly rush at Celeh right then and there, but actually stopped and remained still while she took in a deep breath while still keeping an eye on Celeh.

"I am aware what you specialize in mother. But you have also taught me to never rush into a situation when I dont have a plan, and a plan to back up the original plan if it failed." She said, as as she looked around Celeh for any piece of terrain that she could take advantage of. She started to quickly make plans in her mind, as Astra suddenly used Zanzoken to rush at Celeh to the point to where there looked to be two AStra's side by side, but using her quick agility, Astra attempted to come at Celeh from her left side, but instead of aiming a punch of a kick, Astra attempted to grab her mother.

This time it seemed like Astra had managed to take the upper hand. Celeh's eyes were good, but the two images so close together meant that Astra didn't have to move too far to leave the image, making it much harder to discern which was the fake. She twisted her body and braced one side for a block, but her other arm was grabbed simultaneously to when the punch should have landed. Celeh stood her ground even while her arm was grabbed. She would swiftly rotate on one foot and swing a punch towards Astra. The punch was using almost her full body's strength, but it wasn't the real threat.

Her tail flicked down and around like a whip, aiming to coil around Astra's leg while she was distracted holding onto one of Celeh's arms and evading or blocking a punch frm the other!

What Celeh wouldn't know, was that Astra had been training to keep tabs on every part of her opponent. So when her feint worked and she grabbed Celeh's arm, Astra was expecting some sort of maneuver to take advantage of their close distance. Her training failed somewhat, as she felt Celeh's tail grab her leg, causing her to gaze down momentarily to see what was grabbing her.

This allowed Celehs punch to go unhindered, as her fist collided with her, but she didnt lose her balance. Pain rung through her body, but her instincts and her reflexes allowed her to shurg most of it off. Her own tail grabbed, and wrapped around Celeh's own tail, as she then attempted to grab at Celeh's other arm. "Nice....ngh... punch, but its not over yet!" She said, for if she was successful at holding Celeh's limbs, Astra would slam her head into Celehs with a powerful headbutt.

Celeh's free arm was caught by Astra's attempted grab, meaning the younger woman now hand a hold on both of Celeh's arms and their tails were wrapped together. Tug-of-war went both ways, though, and Celeh was just fine going along for the ride. She had the same idea and plan as Astra, too. She pulled  her elbows back, causing their bodies to be jerked towards one another. Her head lunged forward, colliding on the spot with Astra's. There was a disturbing thud and crack. Celeh felt her whole world get more than a little bit woozy. She imagined that Astra would be feeling the same. In a spur of the moment, she opened both her palms and pointed them at Astra, opening fire just after their skulls collided. She could barely see. Her eyes were watering and blood was trickling into her eyes from her forehead. She didn't even know for sure if Astra let go of her arms and tail due to how disoriented she was. But a couple of blasts aimed at the girl from both of her hands would probably seal the deal of getting them to separate if Astra was still holding on.

Astra had indeed let go of Celeh after their heads collided, but unlike her mother, she did not follow up with Ki blasts, but instead she put her arms up to protect herself from a counter attack. Her Noran trait for healing was slower then her fathers but it would help her recover from the head injury faster then her mother could. But for the time being, she to was dazed and woozy.

When the ki attacks hit her guard, she stumbled backwards. Her head ached as she could feel the wet blood dripping down her face as she regained her footing and breathed heavily. Inbetween pants, she lowered her arms, but she then held another up and a bright ball of energy formed in her palm. This was a technique even Celeh would recognize immediately. Moon Ball. "You ready to take this fight up even further mother?" She asked as she smiled. A pure blood, or even half blood Saiyan would go into an Oozaru state when exposed to the rays of a Moon Ball or a moon. As a Giant Ape, Saiyans were dangerous. But what would a Noran/Saiyan hybrid wield when exposed to the same elements?

Celeh was not accustomed to fighting in her Great Ape form. The Oozaru transformation was something she hadn't mastered because the form itself was counter-intuitive to her fighting style in almost every way. Subtlety, swiftness, and agility were cornerstones of her fighting style, and as a big, lumbering, towering behemoth of an ape...you really couldn't pull off those sorts of slick moves even if you didn't lose out on your speed. Luckily for her, though, her armor was the expandable sort that was MADE for a saiyan warrior going into the Oozaru form. And so when that moon ball popped out and caught her by surprise, she didn't really get a chance to verbally respond to Astra. Her eyes went completely white and her body began to grow and change, thick brown fur covering her skin and a snout inching outward from her face. Before long there stood a great ape in Celeh's armor. She roared and beat her chest with one hand while the other punched a crater into the ground beside her. Lack of control was...really going to complicate things.

No sooner that Celeh started to change, Astra began to change as well. And thanks to the enchantments on her outfit, it too stretched out as Astra's eyes went white.

Soon, the Princess had also become a Great Ape, standing as tall as her mother was.

She watched as her mother had seemingly gone feral, which had her by surprise. But unlike her mother, Astra had full control of her Oozaru form.

IF things were to get too hairy, She could destroy the moonball above them with ease. But the fight was still on, as Astra curled up her giant fiast, and swung a powerful punch at Celeh's snout.

Normally feral Oozaru didn't attack each other out of instinct unless a fight for superiority was taking place, so Celeh's first instinct wasn't to attack Astra. But when that punch came in and decked her right in the nose, it caused her to reel back and grab her snout with one hand. She growled in pain and frustration as a little bit of blood dripped through her fingers from her nose. That punch had been right on the money into an unsuspecting opponent's face. The angry Oozaru cocked one hand back and threw a punch of its own. The other hand reached out to grab at Astra's face while the punch was traveling for her ribs. Celeh's vision was blurred from that punch to the nose causing her eyes to water. A loud roar came from Celeh now regardless of whether her punch and grapple attempt succeeded. Even if she didn't get ahold of Astra, the raging ape would fire off a mouth blast for a surprise attack at point blank range.

Astra kind of felt bad, decking her mother in the face like she did, but she felt that she had to prove something to her mother-to-be. When she saw Oozaru Celeh going in for a punch, she reached down and grabbed her fist and stopped it from hitting her.

However, she didnt expect Celeh to grab her face and follow up with a mouth blast. This caused Astra to stumble back, and almost fall as she tried not to trip over herself.

The grounds shook as the two Great Apes battled it out. "Not bad mother, even as a Great ape, your talents as a fighter still arent dulled." She said. Astra would of returned fire with her own blast, but Astra had a flaw... She never learned how to use Energy attacks as a Great Ape.

She quickly jumped up into the air, and aimed her fist downwards on Celeh's head, hoping to add the momentum of her jump along with her punch to deal extra damage.

Unfortunately for Astra, that leaping punch sort of ended the 'no fly' rule that Celeh had imposed upon herself to make the fight more even. Celeh took off from the ground like a rocket and easily maneuvered around that punch while flying through the air. She roared again and turned her body to deliver a big right Haymarket towards Astra's left side. This was meant to knock her out of the air and smash her downward from above. Naturally it would be followed up with another blast of energy from her mouth with the intent to prevent her from making a recovery on the way to the ground. Celeh wasn't in control mentally, but she'd been through so many battles and used these basic maneuvers so many times that it was basically second nature.
