Reluctantly, Rascal agreed to Ohkara’s conditions, and was fairly straight to business in terms repaying her “debt”. Her hasty request was more than enough to bring a confused look to the green-haired girl’s face. Cocking her head to the side, she eyed Rascal curiously, ”And how exactly…” she started, giving a clueless shrug, ”…Do you expect me to do that?”
This was something Ohkara had put thought into in the past. She had her own thoughts about how to use magic and summon items; however she had no experience in actually doing it. Rascal had, but it seemed teasing was her way of teaching. This was the reason she didn’t like the demoness. Although Ohkara would deny it, the two were very similar- and because of this they’re personalities clashed. Ultimately this would only make Ohkara even more determined to prove herself.
Shaking her head Ohkara raised a hand, ”No wait, don’t tell me… I wanna give something a try first...” she told Rascal, her face turning serious.
Extending her left hand out in front of her, she’d brace her forearm with her right hand, bending her knees to take a stance. Narrowing her eyes at her hand she’d begin channeling energy at the center of her palm. Toxic-green ki flared to life around her, spiraling like a short cyclone at her feet. The display was a beautiful one as Ohkara attempted to force something that wasn’t ki into existence in her hand.
Although nothing formed there was indeed a presence that could be felt. However it would all be for naught as the energy would instead explode harmlessly outwards, extinguishing the flames of ki at her feet. ”Dammit!” Ohkara snarled, stomping her feet, ”I thought I had it!” Cursing under her breath a few times, she turned back to Rascal to painstakingly admit she needed help, only to be blindsided by a question she never expected to hear:
This was something Ohkara hadn’t put any thought into. In fact, she was doing her damnest to avoid thinking about Rascal’s pregnancy all together! Now that this question was asked, her whole demeanor shifted from one of defeat to one of shyness. Hanging her head, she let out sigh, ”I hadn’t even thought about it…” she admitted, ”What do you think it is? What would you name it if it were a girl?” Her hand quickly rose to her lips and she stifled a gasp. The question had been unintentional, and it was a bit of a surprise as it flowed out so naturally. And naturally indeed, it would bring a bit of genuinely-embarrassing curiosity to Ohkara, ”And what about if it’s a boy?” she continued reluctantly, curiosity getting the best of her in the end.
