The saiyan child continued to eat his food down to the last bite and then proceeded to sit back in his chair, grabbing his mug and slowly bringing it up to his little nose and taking a soft inhale of the delightfully smelling hot chocolate drink and then bringing it down to his lips. His eyes slowly close as he slightly tip the mug, take small sips and smiling from the taste. "Ahhh..." He let out in a satisfied tone. He honestly never had a drink such as this and Ethar indeed know how to get the taste buds go crazy. Shun opened his eyes and looked at Ethar, "I understand mister Ethar! how long do you think this whole thing will take? I have never built anything in my life!" Shun said in calm voice. He was sure that Ethar would provide him the necessary training that he needed to actually get such a laboring task done.
The boy carefully set mug down and looked out the window. This whole winter atmosphere combined with that warm mug of chocolate will indeed make Shun have nostalgic memories he will fondly recall in his times of struggle. He scooted his seat back a bit and slouched back, getting very relaxed and listening to Ethar had to say.

Thinking for a moment about the expansion projects, It was a hard question to answer. "Well, Im not exactly sure to be honest. Digging the tunnels and new rooms shouldnt take too much time. Though building the new hallways and rooms with the timbers and furnishing them would take the time... Id have to say a few months at best. Granted, Im also factoring in... distractions." He replied to Shuns question with a smile as he started to eat the second half of his sandwich.
Summers was also on the second half of her sandwich while trying to look innocent since she knew what Ethar had meant by 'distractions'.
"I have already gotten the basic plans drawn out in my study, so we don't tunnel into someplace we dont want to...say like... the underground spring that is fed by the local waterfall thats just east of us. So if there is any dripping or moist stone, we will have to reseal it, and dig in the opposite direction."

Shun sat there listening to Ethar carefully and nodding. He then put his hand on his chin and rubbed back and fourth, thinking about what it would take to actually get to digging out the tunnels and such. The boy slightly nodded his head, agreeing to the fact that only a few months without distractions would pass just as quickly as the days that seemed to go by like hours in his mind. Shun then looked at summers when Ethar said distractions and smiled at her, winking.
The saiyan rabbit boy clasped his hands together and set them on the table, leaning in, "So when do you think we should start mister Ethar? Will it be after everyone is done eating or what? I am very very eager to get started hehe!" Shun let out a light giggle, now rubbing his hands together and smiling wide!

Water was fine, water was Ethan's element, both literally and figuratively, but when water stopped being water and started being ice and with it cold and biting, the normally shirtless teen was very grumpy. The first time he'd been up to Ethar's cabin in the woods it had been early autumn and the weather was pleasant, now though it was a snowy, freezing storm which was making both flying and staying warm the most difficult of tasks. Still, Ethan was more then half way there so it would be silly to turn back now, though he was beginning to regret taking Ethar up on the offer of a visit following the incident on Metropolis Island. Still his own investigation hadn't yielded anything useful and so he was forced to see if the other young man had turned up anything of interest.
Flying through the snow on his board, wrapped up in a big blanket like some sort of levitating mummy, Ethan sailed up the valley he'd once filled with fog more then a year ago, now shivering as the wind caused by his very motion through the air cut through his protective wrapping like icy daggers. Surprisingly though as he climbed higher, following the stream fed by the waterfall adjacent to Ethar's house, the blue haired boy found the weather starting to clear. It was still cold, but at least by the time he had the little house in sight he wasn't being frozen to death by water crystals he couldn't push out of his way. Descending sharply and dismissing his board before he even reached the ground, Ethan landed with a bit of a thunderous impact ins the classic "Hero landing", his blanket flapping about like a cape for a moment. Standing and quickly making his way towards the door, the boy knocked just in case the rumbling of his touch down wasn't enough to alert Ethar as to his arrival.

Ethar was almost finished his sandwich when Shun asked when they were doing to start. "In a short while Shun. Gotta let our Lunches digest a bit first, becuase if we don't, we could..." He started to say in his reply, but a thunderous sound rocked the home a bit.
"The hell was that?!" He asked, as he got up to his feet, pushing his chair out. "You two, stay here. If you hear me yelling, run to the basement as fast as you two can." He said, as he jogged over to the door and quickly opened it. When he saw the blue hair teen walking up his steps, he knew what cuased the thunderous sound. "Ethan! Are you insane?! You dont make a landing like that! Ever!" He said, as he suddenly grew quiet, as if he was listening for something.
Summers was curious as to what was going on, so she got off her chair after pushing her plate of the last half of her sandwich to shun so he could eat it. She walked up behind Ethar, and saw Ethan had come to visit. "The Hydro Man is here!" She said, with a bright smile on her face.

Shun's ears rose and his shoulders hunched up in shock. His pupils dilated and his head looked around the room quickly. Shun wanted to jump up and run towards the commotion but instead he kept his calm but he was obviously nervous, looking towards Ethar to see what to do. The rabbit boy then let out a shaky sigh upon seeing an unsettled Ethar jump out of his chair and making his way towards the door. The boy nods and scurries along to the basement. Shun went back up to the top and peaked his tiny head from around the corner to see that Ethar was confronting Ethan..

Barely getting his knock off before the door flew open, Ethan was ready to give his brown haired friend/rival (Maybe?) a warm greeting but instead got an ear full about how he should not land roughly around Ethar's place. Frankly it didn't make much sense to him, the house was in no danger, after all, the owner couldn't possibly have been silly enough to build it in the path of potential avalanches, lest he enjoy the task of rebuilding. Still Ethar was going on about something but being the teen that he was, Ethan didn't want to hear it, there was being cautious and then there was being overly cautious.
"Yeesh 'dad', it's not like a little rumbling took down a log cabin before." Ethan replied sarcastically. "What, are you going to punch me now for rustling your snow flakes?" the blue haired boy added with a bit of a chuckle and lifted the blanket up off his shoulders, bundling it up under his right arm. As he was doing so, the voice of a girl rang out from behind Ethar, a young one by the sound of it, which just confused the now shirtless boy, especially since she seemed to knew who he was and he doubted any child of that age watched the news.

"Dad? I am not your father, so don't call me that." He said, as he stood to the side to allow Ethan to come in.
It was then everyone started to hear a low rumbling sound that seemed to slowly grow louder, and closer. "By the gods, I knew this was going to happen..." He said, as he pushed himself past Ethan and took off into the Sky. When he was just above it, he looked up the mountain for a few moments as the rumbling slowly grew louder, but soon seemed to die off.
Ethar let out a sigh of relief as he slowly floated down to the freshly shoveled pathway. "Your lucky that Avalanche wasnt threatening this house... Another ravine caught it, and threw it down another part of the mountain." He said, as the rumbling continued but gradually was dying off.
Summers wasnt scared of the Avalanche, although she didnt exactly know what an Avalanche was, but she smiled as she looked up at Ethan. "Hows the boat Mister Hydro Man? Still got that red stain?" She asked as she smiled innocently.

The saiyan rabbit boy stepped up from the basement and eased close towards the window. Once he reached it he put his little hands on his head and held his ears back to make sure they dont stick up as he peeked over and out of the window. Yeah it was Ethar alright and the boy wonder what he had done with Ohkara. A couple days back he thought it may have just been them goofing around the that in turn made Shun walk and wander off.
The boy continued to watch little Summers and Ethan. Shun wrinkled his tiny nose and hopped up and sat in the window, kicking legs back and fourth, just watching and thinking. The weather did not quite phase him any at all still and his huge eyes just shifted between Ethar, Summers and Ethan. Getting prepared for anything.

Ethar was taking things much too seriously as far as Ethan was concerned, first he thought the blue haired boy was actually calling him 'Dad' because of a perceived familial relation, then he grumbled at him about the snow, as if the house was actually in danger. Sighing and letting it slide, being as easy going as he was, Ethan just shook his head. "It's an expression, it means you're acting like I'm your kid." the boy replied with a bit of a chuckle, although the shudder in his voice was just as much from the cold as he was no longer wearing the blanket he'd brought along. A moment later the oddly dressed and equally oddly appendaged girl spoke up again, asking him directly about his boat.
"Oh it's fine. I fixed the railing and hosed down the deck a few days later." Ethan responded to the girl and then looked back to Ethar and chuckled again, giving him a playful punch in the shoulder with his free left hand. "That was one hell of a birthday present by the way." he added, obviously having taken the incident the wrong way. He didn't pause long enough to be interrupted though, just for a moment while his visibly shivered. "Uh, think we could go inside? It's kind of cold out here."

Ethar offered to let the boy go in first, while the small Demoness conjured up a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a cherry ontop, and offered it to Ethan after he would come inside.
Ethar rubbed his shoulder as he heard Ethan talk about the entire incident as a 'birthday present'. This confused Ethar, as he replied "It was your birthday? I had no idea, I assumed you were trying to steal Ohkara away from me." as he would close the door behind Ethan. He saw that Shun was hiding on the stairs, and looked like he was about to run away from something.
"Its ok Shun, you can come out now..."

Shun carefully took a step forward from the stairs. He sighed and walked towards Ethar, keeping one hand behind his back and the other scratching his head and yawning softly.
He looked at Ethan and waved at him, offering a nervous smile. After the wave he picked up some snow and molded it into a ball and started tossing it up into the air and catching it. The boy would soon start to feel the chill of the snow, dropping the snowball and hearing his teeth start to chatter. Shun nodded and agreed.
"W-we should go in!"

"Hahaha!!! Yeah, well I like her and all and she was all over me but now that I had time to think about it she probably set that whole thing up." Ethan chuckled. "I mean she had to have told you to hammer me in the stomach like that, and oh man was that a good hit." the shirtless teen went on in his usual energetic manner. "Maybe a bit overkill with the dock and all but man, that was the best present ever, we've got to do it again soon, it was so sick. Just got to make sure not to destroy anything this time, we actually ended up on the news... Speaking of."
Smiling at the little girl who somehow managed to hide a mug of hot cocoa until now, he happily accepted the drink with one hand and fished his music player out of his pocket with the other and queued up a sound file. "...In other news, last night's baffling explosion in the Central city marina that destroyed a dock and swamped several boats is still under investigation. Authorities
say that there were no injuries, although a boat fitting the description of former President Ethan Snow is reported to have been spotted leaving the area shortly thereafter. Rumors abound, ranging from a botched assassination attempt to an accident with a bar-b-que. More on this story at eleven, this is Jane Valderama, now back to you Todd."
Literally inhaling the cherry right off the top of the pile of whipped crème, Ethan enjoyed his warm beverage as the recording played and then put the player back in his pocket when it was over. As he did so Shun finally ventured out of the house, not that Ethan even knew he was in there, but it was nice to see the boy again. "Hey there bunny boy, long time no see." the blue haired teen greeted the other and held up the mug in a salute.
"And yes, we should get inside, this drink is only going to work for so long." he added and started for the door.

Ethar gave Ethan an odd look as he spoke. "Uh... She didn't tell me anything, and I had no idea it was your birthday... I really was, genuinely, trying to kill you." He said, as he heard Ethan play something over the radio. It was a small newscast report on their fight at the marina.
"Botched Assassination attempt? Barbecue? Gotta admit, the majority of the population of this planet arent really that intelligent. I don't remember too much about the incident, since everything is a bit blurry ever since I saw you and Ohkara.... kissing..." He replied, as he clenched his fist. He then let off a sigh and pushed the group into his home so he could close the door behind them.
"Lets not talk anymore about her. Its just... upsetting..."

The rabbit child smiled back at Ethan, raising a hand and waving it, "same here mister Ethan! Do you know how long do you think you will be staying with us? We will be working quite a lot today and tomorrow haha!"
The boy laughed out as his raised hand now rests on the back of his head lightly scratching and walking over to the sink. Then he started to tap his lips as he opened the cupboard and look for some cups. He liked the one that looked like a mug that a viking would drink out of so he reached for that one and closed the cupboard door. Shun sighed and turned the faucet on and poured himself a new glass of cold water to wash the chocolate down. He turned to Ethar and Ethan, listening in further on their conversation.
